"I called for a free estimate, Justin came promtly and inspected the chimey. He showed me pictures of the problems and spelled out all the options. I explained to him that my cellar has floode due the problems and was anxious to get the repairs done. Justin quoted a price that was fair and much lower then any other estimates. To my surprise he said that he could do the job that day. He kept sending me pictures as the work progressed so I knew exactlywhat he was doing. "Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. "I am beyond impressed with the work and customer service provided by Counter Culture! They truly went above and beyond to ensure that we had a exceptional experience. We visited quite a few different granite/quartz showrooms in Lexington and found that Counter Culture had the best selection for white quartz and was reasonably priced. What really made our experience so great was that after the counters had been installed, that evening we realized we needed our dishwasher bracketed to the counters. We texted GJ (the President of Counter Culture) and he came out at 7:00pm that same night. We were not expecting him to drop everything and come out that night and were blown away by the level of care and customer service he provided. While the counters and workmanship is beautiful, I think our experience speaks volumes to the overall experience and attention you will receive as a customer here!"

"We heard noises of tiolet refilling for 2 weeks and contacted Hymer plumbing in this regard. One of their servicemen came out, listened to the noise and repaired one of the 2 toilets upstairs. Immediately after his repair, the refilling toilet noise returned. We re-contacted Hymer plumbing in this regard. They mentioned they would send a service man back out. Unfortunately , prior to his return, the cut off valve on the unrepaired toilet failed and flooded the downstairs costing $1,200.00 for clean up. I depend on these service people to make the right diagnosis and repair. As you can see that didn't happen in this case and what could have been repaired correctly and cost effectively initially turned into a snowball of costs amounting to $1,577.94."

"We have an old 1930's house that needed a large chimney repointed and cap replaced. Rod at Layman Masonry and his team were referred to us by our roofer, Kelvin Howard, for doing good work. We contacted Rod for a quote, and he came out the very next day to quote a price that was good considering the amount of work to be done. Rob and his team are insured and were courteous and friendly throughout the project. They showed up on time and maintained a clean job site. The project consisted of grinding out and replacing the old mortar, a new chimney cap and to put two coats of paint back on the chimney. The project was completed in 4 days despite rain every other day. We were very happy with the work done and will use Rod again in the future."
