"Fantastic! I called on a Thursday afternoon, and Andy was able to schedule Stu (Stuart Morasch) to come to our home Friday afternoon - yes, the next day. The water pressure in our home is high - too high (110 to 120 lbs, normal is 70 lbs.) - and it was starting to destroy things: pressure created an under-floor leak from our dishwasher that resulted in almost 10 days of water mitigation equipment running to in-cup our wood flooring and a missing drywall-panel sized piece out of a lower-level studio ceiling. But that’s a different issue. We had Stu FIX the root of our trouble: he installed a pressure regulator that probably should have been installed when the home was built. The only access to the main shut-off valve (where the regulator had to go) is tiny and he managed the installation without needing to widen the “door” in the finished wall access. Stu then moved on to replace three dripping faucets and the non-functional pop up stoppers and pull rods, and replacing the flappers and other ‘insides’ of three toilets, one of which wouldn’t stop running, and two of which sprayed inside (and outside...) the tank lid. Yes, all that work took time - over 5 hours - but the quality of Stu’s work his professionalism and clear explanations, his tidiness, the number of jobs completed, and his fun and friendly personality made it seem like less. And the price was more than fair. Stu’s work fixed the terrible noise our upstairs toilets made when flushed, allowed us to stop shutting off the water to stop the dripping or spraying, and gives us peace of mind that no other water mishaps will happen and we can safely be away for more than a workday. We will DEFINITELY hire Andy’s Pipe Dream again, and would be pleased to have Stu back for more work."
