I found them on Angiâ s List. The customer service folks in the office were very helpful and kept me informed on the status of my appointment. The technician who came to the house talked me through everything and got my washer running very quickly. I would not hesitate to use them again!

I submitted a range/oven control board (15 yrs. old) and doubted that I would be satisfied with the service, based on past similar experiences with other companies. To my, and my wife's surprise, we received the best service ever, not to mention the reasonable cost for the repair. The gentleman that did the repair called personally to describe all components he replaced prior to return shipping, including one that had was not in their stock. He was pleasant and informative to talk to. The board looks and works like brand new. We had it back within 2 weeks. Best service I can remember having. Thankyou TRS !!

I can't say enough good things about this business. They did what they said in the time they said it would be done. They repaired our oven control board and saved us spending over $5k for a new 40 inch oven that would be delivered in 5 months if we were lucky. For a fraction of the cost they repaired the one bad component and several more. All at no additional cost than the original quote. A life saver for a cooking family that can't go months without an oven!

Have an older double oven. The main circuit board needed replaced. Otherwise the oven was fine. The part was not longer available. The Repair Shack refurbished my main circuit board in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. The oven is back up and running with much less hassle and cost of replacing it.

I was one of the customers of the repair shack. I had oven broken control board. They claimed to fix it within 2 weeks. They could not fix it from the first time asking to send them control panel as well. After the second repair attempt control panel arrived damaged because it was dropped by their technician. Overall repair service extended to 3 months while they said it will be fixed within 2 weeks plus shipping. After 3 months of spending $100 extra for the shipping (they will not cover any shipping costs even they could not fix it) I got damaged control board that still was not fixed. I called their supervisor Brandon who turned out to be very aggressive person, he said ;Do not even try to file a dispute because we will bring the charge to collection I sent the board to corecentric solutions who fixed it within 2 weeks including shipping time. It only was $30 more expensive but the service was 5 stars against 1 star for repair shack. All previous negative reviews on Yelp are the proof that this place is a nightmare service provider. Stay away!

Great experience. Our 25+ year old Maytag slide-in stove's control board was damaged by an electrical surge. After searching, we found that new or used parts are no longer available. Other than the control board the stove is in good condition and looks new. Found The Repair Shack while searching the internet, but somewhat leery about sending the part half way across the country. After talking with courteous and patient customer service staff, I decided to send the control board via USPS, Flat Rate. When it was received, I was notified and shortly thereafter, it was repaired and returned. I was contacted that the part was being sent back, and not only was it fixed, but other parts that showed wear were replaced. If it didn't work, I was told to send it back and they would work on it again. It works!!! Saved over $1000 for a new stove, and in addition, it saved one stove from the landfill. I am extremely appreciative of the work done by the technicians at The Repair Shack, which was done in a timely manner and at the price quoted. My entire experience with The Repair Shack was extremely positive and I would highly recommend them.

Horrible Experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Paid for shipping both ways, the repair fee, and still could not correct my issue. The *warranty they offer* does not pay for their errors or shipping, therefore, I had to pay MORE SHIPPING COSTS. The control board had exactly the same problem as it had prior to spending several hundred dollars with no fix. AVOID THIS PLACE!! Update: Brandon, the owner, contacted me and set an appointment for a technician to call me to troubleshoot the control board they *claimed* to have repaired; and guess what... nobody called during my appointment time promised by the owner of the company. The control board still does not work even after they claimed to have repaired it TWICE. The company does not return messages sent through their electronic log or phone calls. The owner admitted this to me himself! AVOID THIS PLACE!

I admit to being nervous about long-distance repair, BUT everyone I spoke to at The Repair Shack was courteous, helpful and professional. Fedex was slow to ship my part to their business (2 days ended up being 5 day) but TRS fixed the oven art within a week and returned it to me in short order. The repaired part (probably originally damaged by a lightning strike) saved me at least a thousand dollars. I recommend The Repair Shack without the slightest hesitation.

Had a Dacor oven control panel go bad. Sent them over. They called and asked me some questions. Told me to remove 2 relay boards. I sent them over thinking I would need to spend an additional $300.00. The fixed all three boards for the original quote of $120.00 or so. The best customer service on the phone, and Chris the technician was just great also. Thanks so much folks. The stove works like new.... A+++++++++
