"A&D stepped in to take on this project when we had to 'fire' the original contractor for a variety of reasons (long story). A&D did the demolition of the old cabinets and coordinated the electrical and plumbing updates, painting, backsplash installation and detail work such as installing a new pantry door. We were installing IKEA cabinets and used a company that does this work for IKEA around the country and the same for countertop fabrication and installation. We had used A&D for water mitigation problems previously and found the company to be reliable, responsive in an emergency, professional, friendly and easy to work with. This was consistently true with the kitchen renovation where there was added complexity with the number of service providers involved. We are starting our next project with A&D in early January with a master bath reno, laundry/utility room repair and installation of new hardwood floors - all being done due to a water leak that A&D handled. A&D has already been involved with this project, providing guidance through the insurance claim process which, through no fault of A&D's, was very frustrating and took months. It's really a relief to have a service provider you can trust."

"I worked with 4-5 companies on estimates for replacing all windows (21) and enclosing my patio. The companies varied from large commercial to small business. "Eric removed two layers of shingles from our 40 year old roof and replaced them with new 3D Duration shingles. The job started with us needing someone to replace some siding on the chimney due to water leaking in behind the siding causing deterioration and paint peeling off of the siding panels. The repair which we were pursuing was relatively small and consequently we contacted several qualified contractors and they were not willing to even come and scope out our job. Someone referred us to Maximus and when I called and talked to Eric, he was willing to take on the project even though it was small. When he showed up to evaluate the situation and give an estimate for the job, he discovered that the cause of our problem was due to the concrete cap around our chimneys that had cracked and separated and allowed water to seep in and deteriorate the trim boards and siding.We agreed to have him replace the siding and trim boards and to replace the chimney chase because his quote was very reasonable. During this same visit, I was asking him about the condition of the shingles on the roof because they had been in place for 20 years. They were showing signs of wear but he said they could last another year or two. I inquired as to the cost of him roofing the house too while he was doing the other jobs for us and that quote seemed very reasonable so I agreed to that job as well. He has just finished the total project in less than a week and everything looks really good. He maintained the schedule that he promised and he was on site nearly every day to make sure things were running smooth. We will definitely call Maximus again when the need arises.

"Excellent work. On time for review of the job and preparation of the quote. The crew arrived on time on the work day and quickly loaded the garage contents into a secure trailer. The old epoxy coating was removed and the new coating installed neatly that day and the floor looks great. There were no hassles, the work was done as expected, on time, and the quality is great.

"The employees at All Star Building Corp. were out standing they were on time and worked was done in a timely manner.
One of the things that I liked most about All Star Building Corp, was the way that they took note of a little play pool in the back yard and my dogs. I noticed that they went out of there way to control the mess when removing my old roof. I know that all contractors in this line of work try to do this, but these guys took it to a new level, I had to stop in at the house a few times while they were working they did not know I was there, but I noticed that they were going out of their way to be sure that none of the old roof or nails fell in the back yard. Now I did not ask them to do this, don't even think that I said any thing about my dogs, that is what made me notice. They were just doing all they could to keep everything contained. When they were done my son and I did a very thorough inspection of the yard for the safety of the dogs and found no shingles or nails any where.
The fact is they did a great job on all the work they had to do and also cared enough to take the extra steps to not put my dogs at risk. This meant a lot to me.
