"Brother Bear Service Co, provided me with the security and knowledge of what I was looking for on my remodeling. Their work turn out great and were able to work with my schedule as well as being on time everyday as well as their finishing touches. Any concerns I had after the remodeling was done and during the work . The final project is beautiful I am very happy specially when I felt it was safe living them in the house while I was doing errors . Thank you Brother Bear Services Co."

"Stevie was very prompt and showed up on time, as scheduled. We went over my fence layout and discussed various fencing materials. I asked him to price the project out with two material options. He called me back in a few days with the pricing i requested. We then scheduled the installation, which was scheduled one week out. (all other contractors were 3 months out). Stevie and his worker showed up the day of install, and i threw a slight layout change at them and added approximately 14 extra feet. They completed the project that day and our fence looks great, we would highly recommend them!"

They went above and beyond and the house feels like new after they were done. They were absolutely wonderful with our pets and look forward to working with them in the future."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

A stockade fence is a common type of privacy fence. These fences consist primarily of side-by-side boards without any gaps, thus eliminating the possibility of anyone peeking into your property. Stockade-style fences also typically included pointed pickets on top for even more security. Other than these traits, stockade fences come in a wide variety of styles.

You can buy wrought iron fencing from a trusted fence installation company near you. You could also opt to buy it privately from a homeowner who is interested in recycling their own wrought iron materials. Manufacturers stopped mass production of wrought iron as steel became more affordable to produce, so you likely won't find it in any local big box stores.

While there’s no hard evidence to support this idea, driveway gates at least provide an additional obstacle that may deter crime. After all, a would-be burglar or trespasser would have to break into the gate and the property itself. The extra work could encourage them to move onto a house without a driveway gate.

Glass has one of the longest lifespans of any fencing materials, lasting anywhere from 10 to 30 years on average. Just how long your glass fence lasts depends on several factors, including how well you maintain your fence, the climate, and the type of glass you use.

If you live somewhere with severe weather like hail, tornadoes, or hurricanes, expect your glass to have a shorter lifespan. Pool glass is one of the thickest tempered glass materials and may last longer than other options—especially compared to laminated glass.

Wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum are common materials. Choose based on durability, maintenance needs, and aesthetics.
