Showecker Masonry has been in business Since 1989. We do our own work no subs Free estimates Quality and Commitment is our number one priority.

"Truly wonderful company and experience. I have had Showecker Masonry do work for me many years ago and wholeheartedly recommend them. This project was to drill holes in my brick to accommodate new carriage lighting on my garage. The excellent communication, masterful craftsmanship, professionalism, and kindness shown by Bob, Linda, and their crew are above other companies. Bob and Linda both contacted me immediately upon requesting a quote, kept me informed every step of the way, and accommodated my schedule. Bob and his crew were right on time, very professional and informative on what they did, incredibly efficient, and left their work area tidy. They went above and beyond and even installed and secured electrical boxes in the brick for my new lighting. The cost for the work done was more than fair and beat out other companies I received quotes from. I will definitely use Showecker Masonry for future needs and highly recommend them for yours."

Reputable contractors seldom offer their services door to door. This is a sign of a gypsy company or a company desperate for business. Reputable contractors will provide a written estimate that will be valid for weeks. If the great deal they are offering you today is not available tomorrow or next week it may be a scam. Insist upon a written contract specifying in detail, the work to be performed, the agreed upon price, and warranty. Reputable contractors do not require cash-only terms. If the quoted price seems very low, chances are the quality of the work will also be quite low. Use caution and research the company. At Freije Paving we make your dream project come true right in front of you. Our work is our reputation. Serving Indy metro since 1985. Give us a call today!

Whether you need a driveway or sidewalk poured or repaired, or you want a beautiful custom patio, Lasting Impressions Decorative Concrete will deliver. We have been providing central Indiana with custom concrete patios, pool decks, and even fire pits for over five years and we are ready to serve many more. "I do not recommend working with Lasting Impressions. Short version: They won’t get the color you want right and will remain unapologetic about their mistakes. We sent them an image from their website, saying that they were the colors we want. The main color in the photo was a dark beige. Our finished patio is orange with dirty brown blotches. I really did NOT want an orange patio. Long version: After we sent the image for the concrete colors, their representative replied that we needed to pick four colors: the main color, random color, release color, and border color. He said that the main color would be what the patio would look like and that the random and release colors would be accents. We chose a beige color (Arizona Buff) for the main color, as it seemed to match our picture best, and Georgia Clay and Terra Cotta for the random and release colors. Fast forward to when the work actually began. Early on, it seemed to me that the color of the main portion of the patio was too red – that the random and release colors had just been mixed entirely with the main Arizona Buff, so the end result was a red-orange patio instead of beige. I called our Lasting Impressions representative, and he said that the color would be fine and that we were just looking at it too soon. He said to wait until it had dried to reevaluate. After it had dried, I called him again and said it still looked more red-orange than beige. He said that it would be fine, as I hadn’t seen what it would look like after they pressure washed off some of the release colors to bring out the main color. He himself had not seen the patio at this point. After the pressure washing, the patio still looked red-orange. My husband and I called our representative again, who told us that we needed to see what it looked like wet (as that would be the look when it was sealed). We wetted down a portion of the patio, and the color did not look any better. Then my husband asked that our representative come out and see for himself. When he came out and saw the patio, he started replying with, “Well, those are the colors in our contract.” This was the same person who had told us we couldn’t just tell him one color (the Arizona Buff) but had to choose both a random and release color – but not to worry because the end result would look like our main color choice. I asked how he could fix the color. He said he could use an acid stain to lighten it, indicating a beige-yellow on our house stones as the color he could match. When he went to his truck to look up something, the worker he was with admitted that there was “too much red” in the patio color. Next, we were given a color swatch of acid stains. None of the colors on it were as light as the beige-yellow he had said he could lighten the patio to, but Barley was the lightest, so we told him to go with that (or lighter, if possible). The stain did not, however, lighten the patio to the color on the sheet. It made the patio a lighter orange, but still quite orange. Our representative said that it’s because we tried to go to a lighter color, and that would not work. (I’m not sure why he’d promised that he could match the stone on our house if he knew that earlier.) He told us he could go darker. He also said that he “needed to be done with this project.” We really didn’t like the orange, so we chose one of the dark colors on the sheet, Coal. I wasn’t happy with the idea of a dark patio, as we had chosen the beige to begin with with the idea that it would be not quite as hot for little feet to walk on, but we just wanted the patio to look decent at this point (as the orange looked just bad). However, the Coal application did not give us a nice, dark color stone look. Instead, it wasn’t evenly applied and looked kind of blotchy. Our patio now looked orange with dirty or moldy spots (where the brown was). When we pointed this out to our representative, he said, “I told you the orange would show through a bit. I can’t get the patio to the color on the sheet.” He had mentioned that there would be a hint of orange, but he had NOT said the acid stain would not get to the color on the handout. Why give us a sheet of colors if those colors aren’t what the end result is going to be? By this point, we were just done. They tried to get up some of the dirty/moldy look, but that was unsuccessful and just made the color inconsistency worse. We said what our representative had now said to us four or five times, that we wanted to be finished. So they sealed it off. Even THAT was done inconsistently. Portions of the patio look like they weren't sealed at all. Save yourself the headache and go with a more professional company, one that can actually get color right. I’m now investing in patio rugs."

"I decided to hire QC&R to install a concrete driveway for my Meridian Kessler home after interviewing multiple contractors. They were not the least or most expensive, but I made my decision for reasons beyond cost. This was my first major home improvement project, so I was a bit nervous. I had a strong gut feeling I would be satisfied, and I was impressed with their communication, professionalism, and the fact they are a family-owned, local business. I was not disappointed! Not only is my driveway beautiful, but the experience was positive from start to finish. The team was respectful, hard-working, and took great pride in their craftsmanship. Christian stayed in touch with me, proactively, and followed up promptly after I reached out to him. This business was very busy, and due to weather delays outside of their control, they faced obstacles. Nevertheless, they always made me feel like I was their most important customer. I will definitely hire them again for future projects."

FAQs for tennis court contracting service projects in Plainfield, IN

When it comes to landscapers, licensing laws vary. Landscaping architects are required to be licensed in all 50 states, whereas traditional landscaping contractors are not typically required to hold a certification. You’ll likely be working with a landscaping contractor for most residential projects. If you are redesigning your whole yard or adding in hardscape features, you will work with a landscaping architect at some point during the project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local landscaper guidelines.

As you browse our pro listings, take note of the “Angi Approved” badge. Angi Approved businesses meet our standards for certification which include:

  • The owner, principal, or relevant manager passed a criminal background check

  • Required to have applicable state and local licenses

  • Maintain an average star rating of 3.0 or better on our network, if they have at least one review

  • Paying to advertise their services

  • Meeting any other eligibility criteria required by Angi

Keep in mind licensing is different from certifications. A license is a legal requirement to operate a business, while certifications are voluntary.

The average cost of playground equipment installation is around $500, and most homeowners pay between $330 and $700, excluding the cost of the playground equipment itself. Your total project cost will depend on site preparation requirements, playset size, design complexity, number of accessories, and the swing set materials. Don’t forget to account for the cost of playground surfacing, which can cost between $15 to $160 per cubic yard or $225 per cubic yard for poured rubber.

The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.

The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.

The average cost of mudjacking is around $5 per square foot of concrete, with most concrete leveling jobs totaling between $3 and $8 per square foot. The typical cost to fix a sinking portion of concrete slab with mudjacking is around $1,100. The price you’ll pay depends on the size of the concrete slab you need to be leveled, the accessibility of the slab, and the type of material your contractor uses beneath the concrete to lift it back into place.

The cost to install a concrete driveway is $4 to $15 per square foot on average. Your price heavily depends on your desired concrete finish and driveway size.

For a driveway that is 200 square feet, you can expect to pay an average cost of $1,900. For a driveway at double that size (400 square feet), the average price is closer to $3,800. Plain concrete is significantly more cost-effective, averaging $7 per square foot, whereas stained concrete averages around $19 per square foot.
