Bill is terrific!  I received 3 quotes to finish our basement and Bill was the only one to provide renderings so we could actually have an idea what it would look like in the end.  He came to our house to present the quote and had copies for both my husband and me.  We were able to ask questions and make changes right then.  The quote was very detailed so we knew how much each item would cost.  We were able to save some money by providing the bar cabinets, sink, and faucet which his people would then install. Bill's quote wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but he provided several things that the others didn't - including insulation, permits, and a city inspection to make sure everything was up to code.  That provided a peace of mind!
John, the general contractor, came every day early on to frame and move HVAC all by himself.  He was easy to work with and did an excellent job.  The insulation and drywall employees were efficient as well.  They were in and out in a couple of days.  The electrician worked with my husband to provide outlets (including speakers and cable) and lighting where we wanted it and with dimmers as necessary.  We chose a color of paint and bought a quart so we could try it on several areas before the painters began. Bill had one wall painted so we could make sure it was the color we wanted before he had the painters do all the walls.  We ended up going a shade lighter because of that!  We had an allowance for flooring which we picked out at the beginning of the process from Pro Source (Cassie was a dream to work with).  Unfortunately there was a mix up on the costs and we had to reselect both the carpet and laminate late in the renovation.  But...we are SO glad that happened because the new selections are so much better than the originals.  There was even a sale on the carpet so we got "better" than what we had first chosen for less money!  I love getting a bargain.
The overall project took 6 weeks (which was a little longer than quoted) but some of that had to do with the reorder of the flooring and also Bill had to find someone different to do the finishing of the drywall - his original guy ended up in the hospital.  The painters came back twice after the flooring and cabinets were done to touch up as needed.  
I LOVE everything about this room.  I wouldn't change a thing.  Bill is incredible, easy to work with, willing to make changes "on the fly", has great people working with him, and was on site more than I expected.  The quality of the work is top notch.

Bill was easy and pleasant to work with.  He gave us the shortest time line for completion of the 3 estimates that we got for the total kitchen remodel.  He gave us the names of the companies he worked with, and they all contacted us in a timely manner.  Anderson Amish cabinets, Classic Kitchen & Granite, Plumbers Supply Co. in Fishers, the Tile Shop. Once we had picked out the cabinets, quartz counter tops, back splash, sinks, and colors of paint and wood stain we wanted,  he coordinated all of the work and the workmen's schedules.   They were on the job when he told us they would be, and almost all of the work was done in 3 weeks.
The refinished hardwood floors are beautiful, the painters paid attention to details, cleaned up well and did a great job.  His person who installed the cabinets was incredible.  He installed them quickly, but perfectly.   As with any kitchen remodel, it is hard to be out of your kitchen,  but Bill made it as painless as possible.   He and his crew were flexible when necessary and he was hands on in checking to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction.   I would highly recommend Bill Elliott and Finishing Touch Renovations.

We hired Bill to renovate most of our main floor.  We put in a new kitchen, bathroom vanity, built in cabinets in the office, added a cubby area, new wood flooring, and painted most of the rooms.  Bill was very professional and pleasant to work with.   He was extremely invested in the project and kept things moving seamlessly.  He was always in contact with the subcontractors and there was not a day that someone wasn't here working on the renovation.  Luckily we didn't have too many problems, but any issues that did come up Bill solved quickly.  We are thrilled with the renovation and will be calling Bill when it's time for our master bath remodel!

MR. Elliot and his team were wonderful to work with.  He  answered all my questions, showed up on time and had his team of workers lined up to do the different tasks, demolition, plumbing, wiring, painting, carpentry, with precision.  Team members were quite nice and did great work.  I am so pleased with the job they did transforming my dull and poorly planned kitchen into what it is today.  I would hire him again for any renovation that I wanted done right.

Before we even started, all of Bill's business partners had nothing but great things to say about him. Even during the process!! WE Agree - he was GREAT to work with. While the job started a little messier during demolition than we expected - I would recommend taking down curtains, covering nearby furniture with plastic which we did a day too late! In fact, we kept the floor paper changed regularly on our own to try to help mitigate the dust. They were also trying to work with the huge snow from the brutal winter we had which didn't help. Other than that the pain was worth it, guys were friendly, trustworthy, kept us informed, were not afraid to ask questions if unsure how we'd want something. The new design is totally functional and space is used to the best use of space, he laid out a design very different from other estimates we received. It gave us everything we wanted out of the space. We had a very wide selection of tiles (as much as the tile store had…) which knowing the pricing and discounts, we were able to keep within a budget. Same applied with faucets, hardware, cabinetry and granite. The business partners Bill uses are very easy to work with and they have a high respect for Bill and his crew. We had a pressure issue when we first turned on the water and Bill had it fixed within just a few hours of notification.

Bill is organized-thorough, neat and tidy. Smart, had good options to save money. Reasonably price-totally trustworthy and dependable. Also uses great subs and vendors. Excellent in all areas. Great "can do" attitude! Honest Contractor!

They were wonderful! And the owner (Elliot), because he did the estimates, they are fantastic! They are absolutely excellent! I will give them the highest rating. They are so efficient and professional. That's why we'll use them again and I will recommend them and tell other people who actually are planning on having them redo their fortune bath. For the two bathrooms, it was around $20,000 because it was two full bathrooms are being completely renovated. And for our kitchen area, it was $10,600, something like that. They are completely professional and reliable. The prices are very good and they use all quality products. They always clean up after themselves throughout the entire project of 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. They always showed up on time. They are excellent! I will highly recommend them.

I had a few estimates and Bill's were not the cheapest ones. I chose him because I was impressed with his design and detailed drawings. It took awhile for this project to get started. Neither one of us seem to be in a hurry. Once the project got started it was finished on time with minimal mess. It's been almost a year and I'm still very satisfied with the mud room.

They were very good. They were very punctual and thorough. They did not kind of try to run me off. I will use their services again in the future.

They did a lot of things. There were several things that went into the work. We are going to have them come back and do another repair as the upstairs bathroom keeps leaking. They were just wonderful. We were going out and we had given them the keys to the house. They took care of things while we were gone. They are fabulous contractors. They did top-of-the-line plumbing, and that was not cheap. The quality of their work was excellent.

They were very professional and the owner prepared an estimate. We had another estimate that came in and his was lower. There were no surprises and the woodwork was probably the most outstanding.

The work was done with great care so nothing would be damaged during the installation. The doors and windows were carefully adjusted so they would fit and close correctly. The worksite was cleaned after the installation was complete. The following day it was noted that a further adjustment to the fit of the door was needed. They returned promptly and made adjustment. Everything works as it should now.

It was excellent. They were timely, they were prompt, they did an excellent job, and they cleaned everything up. We were very pleased.

The contractor is Bill Elliott and he has done a great job. He listens to your needs and is very budget conscious. He has great problem solving abilities for figuring out what to move where to make it all come together. This was a small house and he moved a door to allow for a wider doorway to the bathroom. He is very good at the problem solving aspect of a remodel. I have referred him through my business.

All surfaces were properly prepared for painting and none of the wood had to be replaced. The painting was done with extreme care and looks great!

I called Bill 2 weeks ago to have him paint a raspberry colored library room (16x13) a neutral color 5 days before our move in our new home. He primed the walls and painted 2 coats. He fixed all nail pops in the wall. It turned out fabulously. He is very detailed and meticulous. His work was done so well I had him come back and paint hallway (10' ceiling) leading from the garage to the kitchen; and the kitchen, hallway to the foyer, and the foyer that are 2 stories high, and very open; and hallway from foyer (10' ceiling) leading to the bedrooms. He, Santiago and Jesus lightly sanded the walls and painted 2 coats on all walls. If something did not look right, he made it look right. A wall in the kitchen had a lot of nail pops and noticeable drywall seams. He took 2 days to make them look fabulous. The job began on a Monday and ended Thursday. They were at my house at 8:00-8:30 each morning and left at 5:00 p.m. Other painters (who I contacted through Angie's List) were not as reliable when it came to punctuality. I cannot express enough how good these guys are.
