I had some concrete work done by Indianapolis Concrete 5363 W. 86th St. Indianapolis, IN 46268. Hank and his crew did an excellent job. The pad and sidewalk came out perfect and they cleaned everything up when they were done. Before I started, I checked around with other companies and Indianapolis Concrete prices was competitive and felt very confident when Hank came out and gave me a quote. I highly recommend them.

Indianapolis Concrete repoured some concrete around our pool deck and did a great job. Their project managers and associated people keep in good communication with us about timelines and other details and the crew they sent out to do the work were very efficient and friendly and did a great job on the work we hired them to do. We would absolutely hire them again if we need more concrete work done.

They completed the job on time and it was a very good job. My only complaint was they left my outdoor water spigot on and it ran for three days before I noticed it.

The contractor exceeded my requirements and expectations. I highly recommend this company from pricing, performance, and quality perspectives. The project manager kept me informed and quickly answered all my questions even while work was in progress.

The estimator showed up as scheduled, understood what we wanted to do, and provided some good recommendations. The estimate was very good, about 1/3 less than 3 others we received. The project manager came as scheduled and answered our questions. He indicated the work could be done in 4 to 5 weeks. The crew came 5 weeks to the day. The crew we had was led by Carlos. They were a well oiled machine. Our house is on a pretty decent slope, with narrow access. They placed plywood the entire path from the street to the patio, and used a Georgia buggy instead of a skid steer to minimize the amount of damage to the yard. Carlos and his crew were very professional, conscientious, and did excellent work. They all knew what to do and were constantly moving. The work looks excellent and we are excited to use it. I cannot compliment Carlos and the rest of the team enough.

Very prompt in responding to my initial inquiry and in performing/supplying the estimates (they changed it twice as we added more to the project). Excellent communication from the office and the estimator. A pre-construction meeting was planned where everything was explained. They started and finished the project on the dates promised. The crew worked very hard. A post-construction meeting was scheduled and completed. Ongoing care was explained and all questions were answered. The communication, promptness, and quality of the work were excellent. Josh (Project Manager) and Carlos (Crew Chief) were excellent to work with on the project. We are very happy with our finished product.

The primary project was to resolve leaking into my garage. After reviewing, I was assured by them that adding a curb that leaned outward would resolve that. It didn't stop the leaking at all. Minus two stars. As part of that project, I went ahead and had a few other things done that mostly turned out well - except for the way they handled the concrete path added alongside the house. The path was built where 2 downspouts existed, and rather than building it so the spouts ran under the new pour, they cut it short and left it off. It took 6 weeks for them to send someone to place it back on - which I then rejected because by adding them back, I would now have to manage a tripping hazard. They created an avoidable problem that didn't exist before. When looking for resolution, my calls and texts were mostly ignored - as if I were in the wrong for wanting them to fix a problem they created. Minus two stars.

The quality and promptness of the work was excellent. We are extremely happy with our finished product. Josh was excellent to work with on the project.

Overall it went very well. They actually came out ahead of schedule to pour the concrete. The only problem we experienced was concrete splatter on the wooden base to our fire table and the poles to the gazebo on our patio. This could have been prevented with a little plastic wrapped around those areas. We ended up having them scrape off the big chunks of splatter, which did remove some of the paint. Indianapolis Concrete provided a discount to compensate for us having to repaint these areas. There did seem to be some scheduling conflicts with David, the professional that came to seal the concrete and remove the splatter. I don't think this was entirely his fault, though. We planned to have the solvent-based sealer done on both the new concrete and the existing. When he came out, he determined that the solvent base would not adhere to the existing concrete because a water-based sealer was previously used. He did not have the water-based sealer, so he had to make a second trip back to complete that part of the job. I think this could have been avoided if someone had verified beforehand what type of sealers we needed and have all supplies needed at the time. He ended up having to come over on a weekend to complete the sealing, which we appreciated him getting it done, but felt bad that he had to do this on a weekend. He was also the repair guy, that ultimately was able to scrape the big chunks of splatter off the fire table. Overall, everyone we dealt with was very professional and responsive to our questions. Josh was the project manager and his co-manager was Tim. Tim came out once the concrete was poured to inspect the work. We worked through Josh when we noticed the splatter, and he made sure it was resolved to our satisfaction. Yes, we would recommend having Indianapolis Concrete for any future projects.

Did not hire because of their indemnification clause. Basically it says that if Indianapolis Concrete damages your property then it is up to You to fix it. I was told verbally that they would fix anything they break. Without anything in writing as to that verbal statement I couldn't hire them. Read their contract. Their contract only protects them.

The patio was poured Thursday afternoon and the driveway was poured today. To say they were quick would be an understatement! Especially in this high heat and humidity. In my youth I did concrete work for a general contractor, and this kind of work is very, very hard work and they made it look easy! We had Indianapolis Concrete put in a 24' x 88' driveway and a 16' x 18' patio. They did a great job!!

BY FAR the best price among several estimates. The others were crazy by comparison. ICI is totally pro and dependable too. This project started with an incompetent, sub-hiring shyster who set me back badly. If only I'd contacted ICI in the first place. AND they added powdered color to the surface and brushed it in, with outstanding results. That right there is a skill that's hard to find.

The work was done speedily, efficiently, at the price quoted with no flaws or errors in the concrete. It was a spectacular job. I would use them again.

Went well. Indianapolis Concrete came out to remove driveway asphalt that was a bit sunken and sloping downward toward our garage doors. They then poured a new concrete strip that was valley-sloped with an center channel drain to allow any water runoff to feed into the buried downspout at corner of house. While they were out they ended up adding a small concrete corner to allow for garbage can storage. The project manager was effective in communication and multiple visits (before and after project completion), and price was reasonable in comparison to other quotes I received. Work was done summer 2019 and so far has held up well. Would use them again for future concrete work.
