We are very pleased with everything about Frieje Paving. They were the first to contact us about a quote and were able to come quickly within our narrow time frame. We got an on the spot quote that was less than half of the one we’d gotten from a local company just a few miles from our home, and a month earlier for installation. Frieje is over an hour away from us. We looked at some of their recent work and liked it. When we contracted with them the work day was scheduled for only two weeks out. The scheduled Thursday was a rain out and instead of having to wait weeks, they rescheduled for Monday. The crew was on time and very respectful of our property. They were very pleasant and professional throughout. The work was done in less time than we expected and the result is beautiful. Communications with the company was great and timely, and every person we dealt with was friendly and helpful. We highly recommend Frieje Paving.

This was a very good project beginning to end. Freije's quote was very competitive. They replaced the paving damaged by tree roots in a 20' X 20' parking area and added a new layer of asphalt over our double-wide driveway. They showed up with enough manpower and equipment to complete the project efficiently and quickly. I would definitely use them again.

New drive on Friday 5/7, installer and I were going over the work after his completion and I told him about drainage issues that I saw coming. His fix all was to add more asphalt up to and even touching my new garage door. This only created more drainage problems plus I now have a 2 inch drop from asphalt to garage floor. My garden tractor now scrapes getting in. (Water drains directly to my garage) We agreed to let it go for the weekend through a storm on that Sunday. Monday I called Freije and ask that Dave (owner) call me back, no call. I called, emailed. Everything I could do to talk with him but all was in vain, Twice I was told he would stop after work. No show and no call! On Wednesday I finally got Jamie to return my call. Told her about these issues, she tells me they will be back to do repairs today. I call at 8:30am to verify that they would be here. Now today on Thursday, I called and informed the receptionist I would be calling back every 30 minutes. Until my calls were returned. Finally Dave calls me and berates me cussing unwilling to listen. Told me its my fault said I was cheap in redoing my drive! It was there own estimate. I just wanted a good drive. Claiming I threatened his office staff. How? Calling everyday to get a call back from him?. I am now forced to have someone fix his damage. This man did not know that my drive was already asphalt? Said he thought it was concrete. Now I have drainage problems that he refuses to address.. I am being forced to take action. I have puddles in the walkways leading to my vehicles. This will freeze creating danger. If my wife falls I will personally hold him responsible Dave F. Stay away everyone. Shoddy work, ignores his own warranty of a year. I only had it a few days. Verbally Abusive to senior citizens. No respect at all Not a man of his word. We did a gentleman s handshake as I handed him my check, him agreeing to take care of any issues I might have. Never trust Freije Paving. His daughter (salesperson) told me her dad knew all about elevation issues. She even noticed it herself, even brought it up. Shameful. Was quick to take my money and to get away from my drive. But slow to respond afterwards. Please beware. 36 years in business a person would/should know how to run a honest, respectable business. He only lives minutes south of me. Within 2 miles yet would not face me to discuss the issues.
