I use subcontractors when I need a specific trade license or guarantee...for instance I'll call in a licensed electrician for big jobs that require work at the main panel that could pose a potential danger. I love working in old homes...I was raised in a 1910 home on the Old North side and got an early start repairing it.I usually end up friends with most clients and I like the family feel that can develop..it keeps me coming back as needed. If I had to specialize in 1 or 2 things they might be old front doors that never seem to work and leading teams of tradespeople to get a remodel project done on time and under budget...project management.

"Lori is MIRACLE !!!!! My mother and I had to urgently move from one apartment to another. We were both under a great deal of stress and also have some mobility issues. Lori helped us to go through our entire home and purge 7 years of items that we really did not need or want to move to our new home. She kept us on track and took truck loads of items for donations or recycle. Lori is very clear to ensure what you want to keep, give to family, donate, or recycle. Trash is not encouraged and she has contacts with charities that can make use almost any item that you are no longer using. It was refreshing and wonderful to see someone so committed to charity and recycle. Items I really thought were trash she found options that can make use of the items. She worked with my mother to pack our entire kitchen and more, then came to new location to unpack. She completely organized our new pantry and kitchen. She helped us unpack and clear out all the boxes from move, with patience, kindness, and RESPECT. ONE extra big bonus us as well, LORI LOVES DOGS and even fosters them. We could not board our 3 small dogs during the move because of spring break. They were just as stressed as we were and all of our pups just love her. My brother was also helping with our move, he tried to tip her for all the hard work and wonderful service but Lori would not accept. She returned the extra money on her next visit. She is coming back to organize our new garage with Christmas storage and "garage" stuff. If you need to get that junk room, basement, garage, or closet cleared out and organized then call Lori. "It took 10 days to received the machine. No personal contact from the store. We purchased online but made sure it was in stock locally so we could have it quickly. But delivery was turned over to an outside vendor. We had NO contact from anyone at Home Depot. 5 days after it was finally delivered the machine stopped working. According to Home Depot, because we had it longer than 2 days, they won't work with it or honor their extended warranty because Whirlpool needs to take care of it. As of now, 12 days since the machine stopped working, we're still waiting for someone to check the machine. We're paying for professional laundry service."

Jon was great to work with on the sales end, and the install team did a nice job. The installer even recommended changing the paint chip color on the day of the install because he thought that the color scheme may clash a bit. I thought this may delay us, but they were able to get another color there that SAME DAY and there was no delay. I would highly recommend using them!"
