Description of Work: Shirley cleans the entire house, top to bottom. She really does a great job, has reasonable prices and is always responsive.

Description of Work: I hired Shirley based on a couple of reviews on Angie's List. Her first visit occurred before I moved into my new house. She was right on time and very nice. She said that she required a minimum of 2 hours = $70, and that if she had time left over, she could do other cleaning tasks. I said that was fine. I told her I wanted a thorough cleaning of the kitchen and the bathroom, including the walls and baseboards. She stayed two hours and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom. They looked better than before, but I noticed that the walls and baseboards were still dirty, that the kitchen sink was still grimy in the corners, that there was dirt on the outside of the bathroom sink and the bathtub, and that the faucet handles and nozzles in both the kitchen and the bathroom had spots on them. I was a bit peeved, but thought that maybe there was a misunderstanding on how long she could stay. I thought she'd stay until the job was done, but maybe she thought I only wanted two hours, and that she didn't have time to clean everything within the two hours. So I decided to see what happened when she returned. (I cleaned both sinks, the bathtub, and wiped down the wall next to the bathroom sink.) Shirley came again on 12/6/12, promptly at 9am. She asked what I wanted done, and I said, "The kitchen and the bathroom, including the walls and baseboards." At 10:30, she left. I thought, "Hmmm...she must have finished early." I was in the middle of work (I work at home) and so didn't check on her work until she'd left, and when I did, I noticed that the walls and baseboards were untouched in both the bathroom and kitchen. Although she only worked 1.5 hours, she took payment for the full 2 hours. Shirley is due back on 1/3/13. I'm going to bring this up with her then and give her one more chance, but at this point I can't recommend her. I'll see what happens after her next visit.

Description of Work: Shirley cleans my home once a month. Includes cleaning all bathrooms, the kitchen, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning hardwoods as well as general straightening up.

Description of Work: They do bi-weekly cleaning for me.
