"The floor was done on time they were very friendly not until they installed the reducers did it twice and it is not done properly very unprofessional. I contacted the owner and got very negative response. UPDATED COMMENT 7-27-2020, there was no reason for him to make a story up, I was not complaining about the floor, I was complaining about the reducers which were not done properly. The co-worker called me and told me he was looking for proper glue back in March. I do not know where he spent a 100.00's of dollars because I bought all material."

"Found Sentri on Angi. Jeanette and Violet were very pleasant and efficient in getting a contractor to me in the time frame needed. The contractor was excellent and the roof looks great! I would definitely work with them again if I had additional projects."

Small jobs welcome

Hi there! I have about 9 years of experience with home remodeling, house flips, and currently I am focused more on carpentry (custom closets, interior/exterior trim, etc.) and flooring. I am still open to most home repair needs. I am new to Angi, but feel free to check out some photos of my work in the project photos. I am also willing to share more photos. Feel free to email me at [email protected] or call/text at 3179032308. Thanks!

Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Yes, professional installations include reinforced corner posts to ensure durability.

A cross brace for a fence gate should stretch from the top corner of the gate’s hinge side to the bottom corner of its latch side at a 45-degree angle to the bottom of the gate. This positioning distributes the bulk of the gate’s weight to the base of the post, taking pressure off the top hinge.

Yes, a 2x6 should hold a porch swing and safely support the load. A smaller joist runs the risk of it not offering enough support for the swing. If you have a joist smaller than 2x6, add additional bolstering support.

The cost to install a bow window can range from $1,500 to $15,000, with a national average of $3,900. The total price includes materials, which can cost between $1,200 and over $14,000, and labor, which typically adds $300 to $1,900. Several factors influence the final cost, including the window's size and frame material. For example, vinyl frames are the most budget-friendly option, while wood frames are more expensive. Custom features or energy-efficient upgrades will also increase the price. For comparison, a bay window installation typically costs between $1,000 and $7,000.

Most load-bearing walls are exterior, though they can also be interior.
