We had contracted Matrix in February to finish our basement, our salesman did a very good job taking the time to lay everything out give us our options and meet our vision the follow-up appointment to finalize went well and the gentleman really had a good knowledge of everything that needed to be done. The biggest problem we had was with the project manager and some of the trades that were brought in. The framers and finish carpenters did a wonderful job however the failures were many and project management was substandard for spending over six figures on a project. The damage that was caused to the finished portion of our house, walls, door jams garage door frame and other building errors that were made on electrical and plumbing were not addressed or handled appropriately unless I had said something to our project manager . Even then they just ignored my request and I had to pay my own painter to fix the damages that Matrix caused . The overall mismanagement of the project is what brought me to the point where I had to be the intermediary for the trades as the project manager was never on site or didn't pick up or return calls in any sort of Timely manner. This is what I am paying Matrix to handle and clearly that fell short! They framed the tub incorrectly leaving gaps where the wall studs didn't get to the ceiling, electrical switch boxes that were not secured so when the spray foam was installed and pushed the box out of the way causing repairs needed to be made, the plumber installed the wrong color drain and glued it in place they're causing an issue where if they tried to remove it and snapped the pipe under the tub they would have to gut the bathroom again and we were on a tight timeline as we were getting married the week after the project was supposed to be completed. When they sprayed our ceiling the painter left four five gallon buckets uncovered in the basement causing the house to smell to the point where it was 90° outside and we had to leave all our windows open oh yes and by the way had we not covered them up after they left they would have had to buy all new materials. When the spray foam portion of the project was to take place we were told to have nobody in the home so we put the dogs in a kennel they were supposed to be there at 8:00 a.m. they did not show up till 3:45 p.m. not getting completed till almost 9:00. It may seem minor but taking several animals to a"

"I selected Prime Bath originally because of their quick response to my inquiries. Their representative Kevin came right out to the house within days. He was well prepared to discuss my needs and find solutions. I had some unusual requirements. I was looking to have a large, walk-in Handicapped shower installed in the corner of a medium-sized master bath. I was specific with how I wanted it and was told there would be no problem meeting my needs. I was impressed with the level of professionalism that day and was very satisfied to sign a contract for the work at the agreed-upon price. It took a few or so weeks to get the work scheduled but not an unreasonable amount of time. Kevin was always available for updates. When the crew of two did arrive they were very courteous and conscientious. Mats on the floor and a minimum of noise and dust. In less than two days I had a beautiful, professionally installed shower built to my exact specifications. A few days later Kevin contacted me to check to make sure I was completely happy with the job. I cannot recommend Prime Bath highly enough. They are the best contractors of any kind I've ever dealt with and would call them again for any bathroom work I would have done in the future. Thank you Kevin, the crew and all the folks at Prime Bath. It has been a real pleasure."

"Remodel went extremely well even with material delays (not ordered through Rowe construction.) They were able to pivot and work on different areas of this extensive remodel. This crew showed up every day and notified us if they were not going to come or if they were delayed.They also pointed out and/or were able to troubleshoot areas of design that wouldn’t look aesthetically pleasing. In addition, they cleaned up the interior each day and regularly picked up construction waste placed in the garage during this process."

"Tl;Dr; AVOID FOR ANYTHING BEYOND SIMPLE MAINTENANCE OR HVAC ONLY JOBS Our entire experience with the HVAC team has been great. They have been attentive, had no problem with cleaning out the vents, and installed a vent fan for us with no issue. I had no problem pay for what they charged. It was a good chunk of money, but I thought it was worth it for what they had to do. That brings us to the electric and administration in general. We were having a bathroom vent fan replaced and exhausting out from the roof. This required an electrician to come and install the fan. Additionally he was going to be looking at some electrical anomalies we were seeing in the house (GFCI flipping, inconsistent current). He wasn't told about the fan at all. He wasn't even really told about the GFCIs flipping either. So when he gets here, he gets sprung on him these additional things. He does the GFCI thing, isn't able to see the inconsistent current while he is here so doesn't do anything with that, and then goes to do the bathroom. He says he ran new conduit. Inspecting what is there myself, I can tell you there is no new conduit. Why would new conduit be ran when no new switches, no new functionality was added? He charges us well over $500 for installing that fan AND HE LEAVES A HOLE AROUND THE FAN DIRECTLY TO THE ATTIC. How does a company charge that without completing the job with no intention on following up? We contest the price we were charged for service with management and they keep dragging their feet to "try to learn more", offering to refund a charge that I wasn't trying to contest. They keep promising to call back but aren't. There is no communication between different members of the team except through notes that don't tell them anywhere close to the full story. When I finally heard back from them today, they came back with a "Well your wife was okay with paying it and the work" when she was under the (admittedly presumptuous) impression that the HVAC guys would fix the fan because, again, why would they leave a hole in the ceiling like that. Not only that since she she paid the cost there will be no discussion of refund for work they didn't do. The communication is extremely poor from them. Do not use them from anything that is at all more complicated that requires multiple departments or this is the risk you run."

"They were awesome. Went above and beyond. The price never changed. They were clean and meticulous and wanted to make sure we were happy. I even decided I wanted a bigger tub after he brought in the original one and I had him take it back. They did not complain or charge me more for the work. They are honest hard working, I can’t say enough positive things. The only negative and not really because it was Christmas time was a slight delay. To make up for that they wanted to work weekends and holidays as well. Pick them you won’t be disappointed."

"We had EZ Bath N Shower remove our tub unit and install a shower instead. We contacted a larger well-known company, but we went with EZ Bath. Their prices were comparable, but EZ Bath's material was better (thicker base, walls, and glass!) The gentlemen installing the unit were polite and professional.
