Small jobs welcome

"Mohamed got 1 of the 2 jobs done. I hired them to do (2) Fan installations. Upon starting, he found that one job couldn't be done due to old raggedy cloth wiring. He provided details on why it would be hazardous to install this modern fan on old wiring and we agreed on his assessment. He was honest, fair priced and cleaned up behind himself. I would use him again."

"I cannot say enough good things about Abraham and his team. They were indispensible during a challenging and stressful move. Not only did they do a superb job of installing a ceiling fan to an 18ft ceiling, multiple patch repairs, seamlessly replacing and installing bathroom extractor fans that into non standard sized spaces, filling countless nail holes and repainting, and reattaching a dislodged dishwasher, Abraham did all of this amidst the chaos of a move and made MULTIPLE trips to Home Depot to color match paints when I provided the wrong cans. He was patient, thorough, and went WAY above and beyond any expectations in both service, execution, and generosity. If you have anything you need done in your home, make these guys your first call!"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

While wood stove fans are effective for improving heat distribution, they rely on the stove reaching a certain temperature to operate efficiently. If the stove does not generate enough heat, the fan may not start or may not move air effectively. Additionally, like any fan, wood stove fans cannot cool a stove or reduce its heat output—they only redistribute existing warmth.

Before committing to this new project, you’re likely weighing the pros and cons of attic fans. The good news is that typical roof vents can only ventilate 150 to 300 square feet per unit, whereas a single attic fan can circulate enough air to vent an entire attic. By moving large volumes of air within and out of the attic space, an attic fan can lower the temperature by 15 to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and reduce moisture to prevent mold and mildew.

While ceiling fans are built for regular use, running them continuously without breaks can lead to overheating and wear over time. If your fan has a thermal shutoff feature, it may stop running to protect the motor. To extend their lifespan, it’s best to turn fans off when they’re not needed.

Attic and whole-house fans improve a home's energy efficiency and comfort. They ventilate hot air from the attic, which reduces peak cooling loads, lowers reliance on air conditioning, and decreases indoor temperatures. This improved air circulation and expedited heat exit helps lower cooling costs, balance moisture levels, and enhance overall natural airflow, contributing to the efficient operation of other home equipment.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.
