He surveyed the house where the intake and vents were located and proceeded to hook up the giant vacuum outside the house running the giant tube through our basement window. He also cleaned out each vent on the outside and inserted a whip that was inserted into each open vent that knocked the dust and dirt out of the system and took it to the giant vacuum bag outside. My suggestion is to make sure you call Home Comfort Systems if you need service or replacement of your furnace and/or air conditioning."

"Bought Amana (Single Stage) HVAC System. Our old American Standard HVAC broke. They came in 2 weeks before and replaced the Gas Valve for $600 and 2 weeks later that broke too because of the electric board. They convinced us that instead of spending more money on parts that may also break later it's better to buy a new HVAC system. They recommended Amana dual stage - Variable system but next day they called that it was a mistake to recommend that because it doesn't exist in 15" size, so now they recommended Single stage and lower the price by $500. Not only that, but they helped us and went out of way to accommodate us with price. Likewise, they fixed it during Thanksgiving weekend."

"They were able to send out a tech to repair our AC pretty quickly (within a few days), even though this was during a bout of unusually high temperatures. The tech arrived towards the end of the given arrival window; even though he was still within the window, they called me that day to let me know he would be later rather than earlier, which was nice. The tech diagnosed the issue, and discussed options with me and fixed it (low line refrigerant, possible leak). All that was great, and prices seemed reasonable. The only negative part of the experience is that there was an extra charge to de-ice the frozen interior coils. I could have done that in advance if I knew I was supposed to (the tech seemed surprised I hadn't, or that I wasn't told to). Maybe that's obvious to others, but it's not that big of a deal, just an an annoying extra cost."
