About three years ago, DAL refinished our basement and did an absolutely AMAZING job, so when we decided to add a pantry to our kitchen this year, we knew just who to call! Tim is great to work with, and the two guys who did the install today were professional, kind, and smart as heck because they got these too tall cabinets to fit absolutely perfectly. We’d use them again for other work in a second!

DAL Builders is like no other. Their attention to details not only with construction but design as well is unmatched. They came in after a bad experience with another contractor and I have used them ever since. I have multiple projects lined up for this amazing company. They not only show up but they keep you posted on every aspect of your project. Very easy to work with. Very thorough, highly recommend them.

We hired DAL for a Master Bath remodel. Dave was extremely helpful in the design and in the assistance of picking fixtures—he is very up to date on latest design elements and helped us to balance the overall spend on materials-this was appreciated.We are very particular and experienced working with several contractors over the years, and DAL is top shelf. Dave was always available for questions and kept to a strict schedule to finish the project on time! We are very happy with our Master Bath remodel and would happily recommend DAL.

DAL Builders' Tim Larkin did an excellent job in our condo. He connected us with workers who added a backsplash to our kitchen, installed a new window to replace one that leaked, and painted the entire 6-room apartment. He was very flexible about scheduling and quick to respond to phone calls. The painting crew, lead by Gio, did a great job and cleaned up at the end of each day. Would definitely hire DAL again.

Hired them to rebuild front stairs and porch for an old two-flat in Chicago. Quick response, good quote. Came and finished on time. Excellent work. I asked for a recommendation for paint, and they do that too. Again, excellent communication and outstanding work. Would hire again no doubt.

DAL was excellent to work with and we are very happy with our finished front porch. Tim and Dave were responsive, reasonable, and executed on the work quickly while still delivering quality. Tim was also the only contractor we contacted who was willing to help us problem solve and discuss possible solutions for a weird space we were dealing with under the porch. We couldn’t recommend the team enough and we are definitely willing to work with them again in the future.

We contracted DAL Builders to build our TimberTech deck and were so glad we did. Tim was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, flexible in adding requested upgrades, and maintained close communication throughout the project. This was our second time working with DAL Buildings. They had rebuilt our aging front porch four years ago. We were happy with their work then, and are happy with their work now. Tim was accessible and responsive and got our project scheduled quickly. The work was done without any hiccups and completed quickly and with good quality.

Very quick turnaround to get an appointment and a quote at the start of the job. They reviewed design and material options with us and were helpful with making those decisions. During the work they found some damage to the house framing where the new deck was going to be anchored, and they were able to repair that as well as bring in a drywaller to refinish the interior wall after, and were very upfront about the added scope of work / costs. New decks look great & feel solid!

DAL Builders had done a great job for us on two previous projects, so we knew they were dependable and did quality work. Once again, they came through for us. The floors are beautifully done and we’re really happy with the outcome. Tim is a devoted project manager, makes himself accessible, shares his expertise, and is on site as needed. His team does beautiful work and they are neat and professional.

Some of the best service I’ve ever had from a contractor. My decking has been done with thorough attention to detail - it’s so sturdy you could dance on it! Excellent value for the money. Very professional communication. Tim is a rock star!

DAL did great work with our big job! They did a front and back deck replacement with additional repairs (back basement wall was in bad shape once deck came off and front window under deck needed reframing). Tim was the single point-of-contact for all the teams: concrete team for the front pad and piers, carpenter team for all the deck work, back concrete pad and piers and wall rebuild, and additional drywall team for rebuild finishing. When the need for repairs was identified, Tim clearly explained the issue and laid out options with rough cost estimates. We went with DAL because they had done a deck down the street last year that looked really good, so we didn't really shop around - that said, they probably aren't the cheapest, but any additional cost is evident in the quality of work and ease of experience! Last note - it took most of a year from contract to build start, so plan ahead!

DAL builders rebuilt our back porch and their work was spectacular -- far exceeding our expectations. They were clear and communicative during the materials acquisition process and also with the permit process so, even with supply chain issues, we were always kept current on the timing of the project. The crew that completed the work (tear-down and rebuild) were a great bunch of guys. They were professional, clear, and hard working. Most notably is the clear fact that these guys are, truly, craftsmen. Their expertise and attention to detail is fantastic. We have other home projects "on deck" and DAL will, most certainly, be our first choice to have future work done. We are incredibly happy with both our experience and the end product.
