"We had a corroding I-beam steel lintel above a storefront supporting our 3-story building and a 3-story bay window. We had a violation for this. Every other tuck pointer we asked said we would have to demolish and rebuild the entire front face of the building to install a new lintel. The only other tuck pointer who was willing to swap out the lintel without doing any demo work was going to charge close to $100,000!
