JONDEC PAINTING

They are really super to deal with and they stand behind their work. I have been happy with them and I would highly recommend them.

I hired JonDec to gel-stain kitchen cabinets installed in the 1970's to match existing dark woodwork in our 1920's house as well as to "refresh" pantry cabinets. I could not be happier with the results achieved by Eric, which truly exceeded my expectations. In particular, the pantry cabinets look like new. Highly recommended.

No great. I could have done both jobs just as good or better for a whole lot less money. But didn't have the time and wanted done before winter. Had great experience with Angel and Angel team the first time Jondec did painting in living room and bedroom. Second time had problems with one of the painters but they were very attentive about rectifying problem. So gave them another chance and unfortunately not good experience with outside work. Won't give another chance.

Very well. The crew communicated very well, they started when they said they would, and on time (thank God for the great weather). They had a crew of at least 4 guys, and they worked very efficiently and continuously. They first power washed the house, then painted the house exterior, the rear deck, the front door and frame, and my shed in the back. They did a great job painting, and they cleaned up very well. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and as of now, I wouldn't consider anyone else. I highly recommend!

Too many painters at one time (8-9). Poor quality trim painting where ceiling meets walls. Some drops left. Poor prep, i.e., nails not tapped down, some imperfections not sanded. Wavy finish in dining room. Shiny paint show through Came back to fix.

Was very impressed with JonDec painting. Setup a appointment online for someone to give us a quote, Jon came himself and discussed the process. He answered any questions I had. Came back with a quote that was within the ballpark of what I figured. Once selected, we gave a deposit and their scheduling guy gave us an approximate start date, then reconfirmed it as we got closer to the date. Painters came right on time, removed doors, prepped, and worked efficiently to get the project done on schedule. Got a call just before the doors were going to be put back on from the painter saying that he would like another day for the finish to dry. Doors and hardware was re installed and looks amazing. Couldn’t be happier with the job they did.

Everything went perfect. The crew was punctual. They worked very quietly. The crew chief kept me updated. I have no complaints at all. I'm going to request the same crew be sent to mu house in the spring to do the remainder of the painting.

Folks at the office were prompt and responsive, crew was on time and professional, work was completed exactly as promised and in the time frame specified.

Another great experience with JonDec! JonDec had previously done a wonderful job painting in our condo (2010...how time flies!...we had all but 2 rooms done) so when we decided to have the other 2 rooms painted, we called them right away. Once again, the in-person review, the detailed written estimate, and scheduling of our project were performed quickly. When the painting date arrived, the crew was on time and got right to work, keeping the work areas clean and communicating with us as the work progressed to make sure our needs were met. Once again we are very pleased with the results and will happily recommend JonDec to family and friends.

I recently had five rooms painted inside the house. Jondec met my expectations. The crew was professional. They prepped appropriately, applied the paint thoroughly and evenly and did a good job cleaning up. I will definitely use them for future paint jobs.

Great, they worked non stop! The crew was awesome! Beautiful job!

I had to call them back to correct some issues that I had with their work. I wouldn't hire them again for any additional service. I wasn't pleased with the overall result. The ceiling in our family room was painted with the wrong finish and they had to redo that, that was one thing. The other thing is they painted the whole interior of my house, and throughout I did not like, you know when the ceiling reached the wall, you like to have a nice crisp line that separates the white ceiling paint from the colored wall paint, they were very sloppy in the way they did that. One thing when I hired the contractor, that was one of the number of things that I mentioned, you know, that's one of the hardest thing for home painter to do is do your self painters to get that crispy even line and I thought that a professional painting contractor would be able to do that, and they didn't, I could have done what they did if I were younger. They should have picked up, they shouldn't have to compromise.

He did an excellent job. They did great work. They did really good work. It took a few days for the work to be completed.

Fabulous - you HAVE to use this company. From the sales person who quoted the job, to the woman who took my payment, to the customer service manager who scheduled the job, one person was nice than the other. And Bryan, the crew manager, was FABULOUS!! I can't say enough good things about him - polite, respectful, and did great work. Jondec really made something I was dreading to do a very pleasant experience.

Painting seemed to go fine and wal through was quick and looked OK. Till I looked more closely. Then contacted JonDec. Took more than a week and another email before I received the response I was promised, and that was only to schedule the visit with the painter and the field supervisor. Altho I was asked what color trim I would like, I did not find out until the day the job started that the trim in the bathroom (previously painted white) was not included in the proposal. So that added to the cost. Afterward, there were multiple blebs in the paint on the bathroom walls. The area between the top of the vanity and the wall had not be properly cleaned out after skim coat was applied and the joint was raggedy. The paint around the towel racks had gaps, showing the old surface. Field supervisor told me that was from pulling the tape off. Oh well. I asked if they remove the towel racks to paint, and he told me no, because the little screw gets lost or it doesn't get tightened back correctly. WHAT? The porch windows were painted shut. The field supervisor said windows are checked for opening bo"th before and after painting, implying the painter had done this. I said the painter never tried to open the windows. Then the painter admitted he had not, but said he "slit" the paint, but it must have not been dry and so it rolled down and sealed the windows shut". The front door trim on the porch was not painted. The field supervisor said that was because I didn't ask for that to be painted. RAW WOOD IN PARTS, PEOPLE! There were multiple pinholes around the porch interior door from staples for electric wiring that had been removed. I pointed out at the end of the first day that the holes were still there. Painter told me he would fix that with a second coat the next day. Not so. When this was pointed out to the field supervisor and the painter, the painter (falsely) stated that he DID fill those holes, that I stood there and watched him. I did not stand and watch him at any time. The field supervisor told me I was disrespectful because he couldn't answer certain of my questions and I scoffed at him for his weak replies. He absolutely refused to have the painter paint the trim around the front door at no charge. REFUSED FLATLY. To be fair, the painter is painting two wall areas that he missed on the porch, and repairing all the other sad things that he did. However, this is no way to keep customers. I wish I had a larger platform to speak out about the poor customer service and non-professional employees.
