"We used Above & Beyond Construction to gut and remodel one full and one half bathroom in our 1960-built house. This was our first big home remodeling project and we couldn’t have been happier with the results. Chester and his crew were easy to work and communicate with, kept us updated with timing and progress, and identified additional issues that needed to be addressed (aka some really nasty old corroded cast iron pipes and cracked joists in our basement) to prevent future catastrophes. If we hadn’t fixed them we know we’d have ended up having to rip out the beautiful new bathroom within 6 months due to the failure of the old plumbing! They take pride in their work and take care to protect the rest of the house from dust and dirt, completely clean up the work site at the end of every day, and we had no problem trusting any of them in the house when we couldn’t be home. There were no budget surprises, either; the estimate was right on target. When we get up the nerve to tackle the gut rehab of our old kitchen we will look no further than Above & Beyond Construction!"

"Very professional. Although bathroom was semi refinished, due to all the problems we had had with the company who had done the basement, we decided not to let the remodelers install the toilet and pedestal sink. Good call as it turned out to be more complex and I shudder to think what the original remodelers would have hacked in order to do it. The sink drain pipe had been torn off during demo and one of the two the two bolts on the floor for securing the toilet had also been sheared off. Paul told me that it would take more time then the big deal we purchased and also let me know about the extra charges for materials due to the situation. He was able to get the pedestal sink with faucet properly installed on the first visit. Then he called to let me know he had purchased the parts for the toilet install a few days later, came to our house at the appointed time and finished the toilet install. He invoiced me promptly via email and I was able to pay the extras via credit card. Both fixtures work well. Although it ended up costing about twice what we paid for the big deal, in the end we got a quality job from a very professional and knowledgeable plumber.

"Jerry and Jerry are the best! There was nothing these guys can't do. They did beautiful custom work, including an in wall fish tank, decorative columns, granite countertops, and a glass tile backsplash. Everything is top notch, and every worker brought in was professional, friendly, and highly skilled. The building inspector signed off the work with no comments. Every time I wanted a design change, Jerry incorporated it right into the plan. You will not find a better value! I looked around and Jerry's prices are much better than other companies, and the work is unbeatable. I just wish I had another basement to finish!"

"Very good, Wendy provided lots of options but would provide the downsides of certain choices to help narrow down. Easy and very pleasant to work with. Never held things up. A couple small glitches in the design/choices but it was a big project so not surprising. She seemed to be very efficient with her time."

Team is well organized and very responsive to all our questions, modifications or changes during the project. Left the place clean afterwards at end! Price was reasonable as compare to others! I suggest, if one plan to remodel a bathroom, make the design a head of time, purchase items, matching Tiles, pencils and grout based on your taste and design, and then discuss the plan with Envy Project Manager, Scott was great to work with. "We had a full bathroom gutted to the studs and redone entirely. Best things I appreciated about the experience was 1) The proposal was incredibly detailed and procedural, which is something our other candidates did not provide, 2) Jim, John and Jose showed up every weekday, consistently and timely, and took the necessary and thoughtful steps to protect the rest of the house, 3) The work was performed carefully with good attention to detail, 4) While there were unexpected circumstances during the remodel that resulted in slightly more work and money than originally proposed, all of it was fairly priced and necessary for what we wanted, 5) Jim was receptive in discussing different options and really made an effort to figure out solutions that would be best for function and aesthetics. I also appreciated that Jim was conscious to proactively communicate timing and schedules. Overall, happy with the experience and the team's efforts and would use them again on future projects."

"Chi Renovation did an outstanding job on my bathroom remodel. I have a very small bathroom and because of my experience with contractors (all bad) I assumed this job would drag out because it was a small job. That was not the case at all. When Chi Reno came out to do the quote they had great suggestions on what I could do to achieve what I was looking for while also taking a practical approach. The designer worked with me and we came up with a great design. All the while, it was very low pressure. Never did I get the feeling that there was an up sale going on. With regards to the job itself, my only request was that once started, they devote the resources to get the job done in the allotted time. Chi Renovations came through on this wonderfully. The crew was awesome and professional. They finished the job ahead of schedule. Chi Renovation was not the cheapest quote I received but I can’t imagine another company providing better service and results. I would recommend Chi Renovations if you want the job done right."
