I reached out though Angi's to any company that might possibly employ structural engineers and Linda, a Structural Engineer with AGGO got back to me right away, first thing in the morning and was able to squeeze us in that very night. Linda was thoughtful and thorough. She careful looked over everything and even brought a large, bright light since it was after dark. She took her time, answered all of our questions, and gave us advice on other concerns and things to watch out for as well as reassuring us about things we didn't need to worry about in this situation. Even though she was probably working past her normal work hours to squeeze us in, nothing felt rushed or hasty. "

We offer services in remodel, rehab, convert and repair commercial and residential buildings. We billing our services according with standard contracts agreements. We do not have special promotions, because our services are fair and sometimes below the market value. Anyway, we performed extra work which is not part of our scoop of work in the signed contract, if this extra work is in our way to continue with the scoop of work in the contract and if the amount of labor doesn't exceed $300.00 and the materials are not above $150.00 and if the original contract is $5,000.00 or more. We notifiy and identify the extra work at the moment which this appear in our way. We can make financing arrangments with Wells Fargo Bank, Banks of America and US Bank, but the final decision is on them. Each sub-contractor working for Nichic Corporation is passed by a strict verification of all insurance, license, workers comp etc.

"About 8 years ago, after a brutal series of flooding rains, we started getting water in our finished basement. Eventually over the years it became a huge problem whenever there was significant rain, which happened frequently. They did not press us into a large scale expensive solution. They installed a vapor barrier and drain tiles, in addition to a sump pump. They brought in an experienced team that quickly, cleanly and efficiently completed the installation. If you are removing walls, adding openings in walls, adding living space, placing an additional story on a structure or other actions that may impact the structural components of an existing building, it is advisable to utilize a structural engineer to understand the full impact of the renovation. Engikeering will provide full structural design and detailing for new structures, to completely and economically meet all of the applicable building code requirements. Engikeering can help identify the cause, assess the severity of the situation, and provide any needed design to remediate the areas of concern: Foundation cracks, interior cracking and/or framing movement, natural disaster damage, sagging floors or bowing walls, rot and/or insect deterioration, undersized, strained or damaged elements, roof failure or building collapse.

"Beware of this company. I had Jonathan come out to provide me with a verbal report on the condition of some termite damage in my basement. With each visit, he wanted more drywall removed and exacerbated the perceived severity of the situation. I soon realized that he was more problem focused than solutions oriented. I decided that I would prefer to look elsewhere for services to mitigate my issue, and effectively terminated our contract. Jonathan, without my knowledge and with what I perceive to be malicious intent, then sent his partially complete report to the Village reporting my property. Half the report was guesswork as to the extent of the damage as they were about areas that he was not even able to visually inspect. The village, after reading the report, became spooked and are asking for more than I and my professionals agree is necessary to mitigate the safety risk. Needless to say, I will never again use his services and I strongly advise that others be wary as well."
