"Simply put, I could not recommend them enough. They were flexible and made the process easy. As this was our first rehab, this one took 18+ months due to legal and zoning. Throughout the entire process, James Construction group was happy to wait and consult as needed. I feel many companies may have moved on during this lull in our project and left us out. Once we finally got all the right paper work, they moved very quickly to rehab our house. All the while, we lived in the basement. Every contractor that came through for them was very nice and kept things as clean as possible (construction is always going to be dusty to a degree). As for the finishing, they made that easy too by allowing us to pick the big design elements but handled most of the "small finishes" that go overlooked but are a massive headache for the home owner. For example, baseboard trim was something we weren't very passionate about and let the company match up to our style - it looked great! With any construction project, there's bound to be change orders. James Construction was always flexible, assisting in anyway they could. We had an extra last-minute bath remodel that they team executed flawlessly, even though many of the contractors that were needed for the project had already done their jobs on the bigger parts of the houses. With the finished product, we couldn't be happier. If you have a rehab or want to upgrade, this is the right company for you. They're budget friendly, too!"

He fit my project into his busy schedule because I had a very tight time frame for getting my house ready to sell, and only discovered the cracks once we removed drywall that had gotten damp. They explained and demonstrated their process, and the work was done carefully and neatly even though it was getting covered up afterwards. "Mike, Eddie, and their team were great. From the beginning communication was easy and Mike was easy to get ahold of when we had questions regarding materials and details in the estimate he sent us. We actually had them quote us a few years back, but had to hold off on the work due to multiple home repairs. They gave us a new estimate, for a small increase, which I really respected given the 4 years that had passed and the amount of work they had on their schedule. We had a couple of other companies come out and quote us and E & B gave us a middle ground price, but with plenty of detail to back it up. We ended up deciding to do composite deck floorboards with a wood railing. After they began demo my husband realized that even though we had planned to hold off on having our back sidewalk re-poured to slope away from the house it wouldn't be possible since two of the staircase footers would have to sit on top of it. We asked if they could add give us an estimate on one sidewalk from the back of the house to the alley. After some back and forth on the height and slope of the sidewalk, they got started on that the next day. We also decided that we might as well replace our sliding door that has been giving us issues and Eddie ordered that immediately for us. Everyone was respectful about our space, worked hard, and whenever we had questions they stopped work until we had it resolved. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure to come back to finish up a few minor details. They also came back two weeks later when the sliding door wouldn't lock. They didn't leave us hanging after the majority/all of the job was done, which had happened to us once before. I trust them enough to work with them again when we're ready to tackle the next thing on our bungalow fix-it list."

"Herb Blackmon was our first point
of contact with US Waterproofing.  He provided a detailed explanation of
what was causing the leak in our basement.  Herb was very knowledgeable
and explained the issues we were facing in a manner that was easy to understand.
 He presented us with several options and we decided to install the drain
tile system in our entire basement as well as a new concrete floor.
The job took about a week to complete.  It was originally supposed to take about 48
hours but when we decided to have a new floor installed and to have the old
floor dug out to gain a few inches of height in the basement it extended the
time of the job.  The crew arrived
promptly every day and began by breaking up and removing the old floor.  Once that was done they began the process of installing
the drain tile system and digging out the dirt/sand to gain additional ceiling
height.  Once that was complete they
dumped the rocks and gravel and began laying the concrete floor.  We were very satisfied with the work of US
Waterproofing from start to finish.  Herb
was an awesome salesman.  He was
knowledgeable without being undermining and pushy and he was patient and gave
us great advice about how we were to proceed. 
The crew was hardworking and professional.  I would recommend US Waterproofing to anyone
seeking to address leaky basement issues or have a new floor installed. The
quality of their work enabled us to be able to remodel our basement."

The owner, Hector, came to our house at the end of June and gave us a very reasonable quote for the job. We did our due diligence by reading many positive reviews of their work and decided to hire them. The work was originally scheduled for the second week in September, but due to a cancellation they were able to fit us in a few weeks early. They tore down and removed the tired old asphalt, then framed, graded & compacted with gravel and finally installed wire mesh on the first day of the job. The following work day was all about pouring and smoothing the new concrete. Hector and his crew arrived on time, and worked efficiently and diligently at a price that we felt was both honest and fair. The finished job is impressive and beautiful.
