"Walter was easy and great to work with. We had a water leak in our first floor ceiling and we had 3 different plumbers come out to diagnose the cause and none of them could figure it out. Walter was the only one able to diagnose the problem. Turns out the pipe supplying cold water to the upstairs shower was leaking in the drywall. Unfortunately that drywall is between a shower and bath tub. So the shower had to be replaced in the process of getting to the leaking pipe. Even when we weren’t certain replacing the shower was the right move, Walter was patient with us and was not pushy. They replaced shower, fixed the leaking pipe and repaired the drywall of the first floor celing. The job was completed in a day and half."

"Tony came out initially to provide a quote on new windows for the building. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the products Excel offers. He provided me with multiple choices and even had a window that he brought with to show me how they look and work. I also received two other bids from other local window companies. While Excel was in the middle on the price, I was impressed with how prepared and knowledgeable Tony was throughout his pitch. Also, I felt really good about the product he was selling. All of these factors led me to select Excel as the provider. After I gave Tony the go ahead that I was going to use Excel, he immediately had Tom (their installer) come out and take measurements. Earlier, I had explained to Tony that I really wanted the windows replaced before I moved into the building and that would occur in about a month and a half. Tony was up front with me about the time frame and said that he would do the best he can to get them rushed but it could be 4-6 weeks before they receive the windows. About 1 month after Tom came out, I received a call to schedule installation in about 3 business days. This was a great turn around time, and I really appreciated the effort they made to get the job done asap. Tom came out when he said he would with his crew and all of the windows were installed in 1 day. Again, this was better than expected because I tested positive for lead paint around the window openings which typically translates to a much longer installation process because of EPA compliance. I was very happy that everything got installed that day. Moreover, I was very satisfied that the Excel team was able to meet my projects deadline and really worked hard to do so."
