"SP Fence is the Best! We selected SP Fence after noting they were the highest rated company on several sites. They wouldn’t let a thing like a pandemic get in the way of serving their customers. When the Virus caused material supply issues, they gave us the choice of waiting for the material we asked for or getting an upgrade to an in stock, higher priced material – for the same price! When the Virus caused one of their work crews to quarantine, they sent a one-man team to build our fence. He single-handedly, over four days, built our fence in 90 degree temps, and did a great job! When we called about punch list items (nail pops, etc.), the owner came out the following week and personally saw to our needs. We love our fence. Call now to get a quote for next year!"

"Had a fence installed 4 years ago after purchase of my home, had some damage due to storms, tech came out fixed the storm damaged fence and fence damage caused by kids that I didn't even put on the repair notice. Was happy with original installation and repairs needed. Communication was great from start to finish as well. Highly recommend!"

Small jobs welcome

"Junior and his crew did a wonderful job on my yard at a reasonable price. The yard needed to be flattened, top soil added and sod installed. The job was done when promised, nothing was left for me to clean up, and it looks great! High points: Communication, professionalism, friendliness and skill. Highly recommend RRR LLC. I will definitely use them again for various household projects."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Vinyl fencing stays popular with homeowners because it’s durable and aesthetically pleasing. In addition to offering plenty of privacy, vinyl fences have a life span of 20 to 30 years with minimal maintenance. You don’t have to worry about these fences warping or rotting due to moisture, and this material doesn’t contain toxic chemicals.

You can buy wrought iron fencing from a trusted fence installation company near you. You could also opt to buy it privately from a homeowner who is interested in recycling their own wrought iron materials. Manufacturers stopped mass production of wrought iron as steel became more affordable to produce, so you likely won't find it in any local big box stores.

There are many pros and cons to vinyl and composite fencing. Both fencing types offer longer lifespans than wood fencing, with some notable advantages. Whether one is better for you will depend on a few factors. Composite is better if you prefer recycled materials, while vinyl is extremely easy to clean.

Also, consider the disadvantages: vinyl can be more expensive, while composite fencing fades during the first six months.

A fence installer or homeowner should place a snow fence upwind of the desired drift area, while keeping the prevailing wind direction in mind. When installing a snow fence, its posts should be sturdy, as they will be the weakest areas in terms of tensile strength. Posts should be buried at one-third their height and placed no more than eight feet apart.

When it comes to materials, wire fences are the cheapest option. The average cost for a 150-foot wire fence is $1,350. The next cheapest material is chain-link, followed by wood.

As far as the style of fence, smaller, less private fences are cheaper than large, elaborate fences that block your whole yard. That’s why split-rail fences are the cheapest option for wooden fences. They cost roughly $10 to $30 per linear foot.
