"I recently had crown molding installed in my unit (bedroom, and combined kitchen/living room). I originally called and spoke to Linda to get an estimate and schedule the work. Linda was so pleasant and easy to work with. When the contractors arrived, we learned that there was a little confusion with the estimate. I called Linda before any work began and she talked with management as well as the lead contractor and quickly and calmly solved the problem. I was greatly impressed by her composure and the company's integrity in the matter. In terms of the work completed, Bogdan and Mirko were the men who installed my crown molding. I cannot say enough great thing about the two. They were on time, friendly, explained the process and kept me informed throughout, diligent, respectful of my home (making sure they protected the place and cleaned up so well after) and overall a pleasure and so much fun to work with. "They were very helpful on advising on specifications. In general, I found roofers specifying roof replacement the cheapest way possible rather than what is most cost effective long-term. Once, I got multiple contractors matching on specs, GF was clearly cost competitive, particularly given no subcontractor usage. Actual install was smooth except for two things. It took more time than they budgeted for, but they handled that well and didn't try to ask for extra payment. Second, they discovered that the backing of the house's original aluminum siding was rotten when they were installing new flashing. Understandably, they didn't want to put it back up as is (which I can appreciate). Thankfully, they were able to provide a cost effective answer regarding new siding, as I didn't want to have to big that out with everything already torn up."
