We chose to have our attic insulated and our ducts sealed. Our ducts saw a 93.5% improvement, and we immediately noticed the difference in the temperature of our second floor. Even during this prolonged heat wave, we have been able to keep our temperatures much lower than before. The attic insulation has also decreased the temperatures of the upstairs. It has been a remarkable difference. We are fully expecting our house to be more comfortable in the winter as well. "Attic Air absolutely lived up to their reputation. They did a GREAT job! I did my research in creating a short list of 3 bidders for the job. I have a bi-level house (4 levels) with 2 attics. We had black mold on the underside of the roof which we had remediated a week before having Attic Air come in to fix our ventilation and insulation issues. Our upstairs floor was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The attic ventilation and insulation needed to get fixed, and I wanted to make sure I hired a good company to do it the right way so I never had to worry about it again. I made the right choice. The temperature throughout the house is so much more even now. Before Attic Air came out, the basement and sub-basement were freezing and the first and second floors were warm and hot. My over-sized top of the line Trane a/c unit was working overdrive to try to cool the 2nd floor and never could do it. The top floor is so much cooler now than before. It's really going to save my a/c unit in the long run. Attic Air was not the lowest bid of the 3, but you get what you pay for. If you want to get the best quality this is the company you want. I would haven't have changed a thing. Worth every penny!"

"Had USA out to discuss insulating attic and exterior walls.  The concluded that doing exterior walls was not needed.
 Recommended putting several inches in the attic.  There was almost nothing up there.  The product used has a good recommendation.  compared it to several other products.  
Very clean and efficient.  Arrived almost an hour before schedule.  Called an hour before arriving to say they were on the way.  Laid tarps to protect carpet.  Finished in about 3/4 the time I expected.  Cleaned up everything.

"I had three different people groups in who came in and gave me an estimate and what might be needed and what they discovered is that for some reason when the house was built 16 years ago, they did not really do adequate insulation.  I did feel very comfortable with Precise & Snug.  They were good about being able to show me pictures.  They showed how it looks up on the attic.  When you are in the process, the told us that they can do this and that and it would cost so much and the final bill was $20,000.  I would not use their service in the future."

"We are extremely happy with the work done by the crew at Professional Home Improvement. It looks great! We’ve already received many comments from our neighbors on how nice the house looks. They basically replaced everything on the house exterior but the roof and windows. Mal Graifman worked with us on the design and gave us excellent suggestions on all the trim work. We went with Alside Charter Oak premium vinyl plus R3.6 foil faced insulation and Tyvek house wrap. The soffit, fascia, gutters and trim are aluminum, with the corners capped in vinyl complementary to the siding. They paid special attention to ensuring the front bay windows look fantastic. Two new raised panel AFCO Industries Acadian style columns support the porch. A half-round garage attic vent was installed to complement the half-round master bedroom window. The crew was very professional and courteous. They did a wonderful job going above and beyond to make everything look good, including building out the facing on the front porch roof a little so the profile matches the new columns. The price was reasonable for the quality of work provided. We strongly recommend them."
