Apparently, my house was built on the day no one was inspecting. The builder never cut open the soffits. That meant there was zero airflow going through my attic. The attic fan could run all day, but without air to move, it would not do any good. Only Robert noticed this and offered a solution to fix the problem! "It went fairly well. The man in charge of giving estimates gave me confidence. The man in charge of the work was a bit of a fast talker, however. I have waited over a year to finish this review b/c I wanted to wait until I got door into the porch from the house and for cold weather to see how well the insulation works. I do not have a heat vent on the porch. Was hoping the insulation along with a small electric heater would keep it warm. The contractor thought it would be okay without a heating vent. For most part it is, but with very cold weather, the porch gets pretty cold. I may have been hoping for more than was realistic and may eventually get a larger electric heater or get a vent from my furnace if I decide to use the room more regularly."

"We are extremely happy with the work done by the crew at Professional Home Improvement. It looks great! We’ve already received many comments from our neighbors on how nice the house looks. They basically replaced everything on the house exterior but the roof and windows. Mal Graifman worked with us on the design and gave us excellent suggestions on all the trim work. We went with Alside Charter Oak premium vinyl plus R3.6 foil faced insulation and Tyvek house wrap. The soffit, fascia, gutters and trim are aluminum, with the corners capped in vinyl complementary to the siding. They paid special attention to ensuring the front bay windows look fantastic. Two new raised panel AFCO Industries Acadian style columns support the porch. A half-round garage attic vent was installed to complement the half-round master bedroom window. The crew was very professional and courteous. They did a wonderful job going above and beyond to make everything look good, including building out the facing on the front porch roof a little so the profile matches the new columns. The price was reasonable for the quality of work provided. We strongly recommend them."
