American Asphalt Maintenance IncWonderful experience from beginning to end. The representative (Frank) who came to provide an estimate was knowledgeable and informative. The estimate was competitive and the work was completed in a very professional manner. I selected this company because they have only one crew which includes the owner of the company. He in fact works side by side with his team. They are a fine-tuned crew and it was interesting to watch how efficient they are. Everyone knows exactly where they need to be and what they need to be doing. The experience of each of the members is easy to recognize. Interestingly, they do not ask for any payment until the job is done supporting the fact that they have confidence in their work product. I watched over the process and there was nothing that I felt needed to be addressed as the work was completed. In fact, they did more than I expected. I have one walkway off the driveway which was not level with the old driveway and they altered the pitch to ensure that it met the level of the walkway. The project was not simple in that I have a three-car garage and driveway is curved as well as very steep. Perfect job by a great company.- RONALD R.

Used CSS for snow removal. Heed the reviews here and Yelp. This company is not professional, does not fulfill its contractual obligations and the project manager is delusional. They did a poor job removing snow so we had no access to our walkways/garage (what they were pre-paid to do) and made excuses for why they didn't do what they were hired to do. As winter went on, they didn't even show up and claimed there was nowhere to put snow - tried to charge us more to haul snow away (even though I had no issue with just me and a shovel...and I'm not a "professional snow remover"). Do not use this firm, you will regret it. They take on contracts to collect the revenue, but do not have the people/tools to do the job if more than a few inches of snow.

BEWARE! Hired Pete June 2020 to remove and replace existing driveway, replace culvert pipe, grade ditch for proper water flow. The day of the job they showed up and got to work. After speaking with the foreman, he was unaware of what the job required. I explained installing the front culvert pipe at the proper pitch was imperative to fixing the water backing up in the ditch and flooding my driveway/garage. Pete had stated at the estimate they install them all of the time so no worries here. Not sure how they do that because they didn’t even have a level to use. Not even two weeks after the driveway installation it was already showing signs of deterioration and falling apart. It was sinking under the weight of a small Volkswagen car leaving 1-2” tire tracks where it was parked for less than two hours. Driveway is cracking and crumbling everywhere. Roller marks from an untrained employee. Numerous bird bath type puddles throughout driveway that turned to ice in winter months. Culvert pipe installed improperly as most of the non compacted gravel has rinsed away, and our water problem was made worse by the skid steer bucket sized piles of gravel they left on both sides of the culvert. The quoted ditch work was never completed as agreed upon in the bid. We paid for 3” of asphalt and received 1 1/4” in areas. After 12 attempts at contacting Pete he finally sent an email saying he had a family tragedy so he sent his “crew leader” to inspect the work. He lied straight to my face, stating the driveway is still settling...as you may know that properly compacting the base with a roller prevents this from happening... a base should not settle and if it does, whatever you put on top of it will fail (asphalt, concrete, brick..) Luis also went on to say it had rained that day leaving the base mushy, if that was the case they should have postponed the job and came back when it dried out. After finally agreeing the job was done improperly he made false promises about returning to repair the driveway, and to regrade the ditch as quoted in the bid. We haven’t seen them since. Fast forward to March 2021, we are left with a driveway that looks like gravel, cracks and sunken ares. Pretty sad I spent $7250 and my kids can’t even skateboard or dribble a basketball in the driveway. To give you an idea of how soft this driveway is, I jacked up our van to fix a flat tire and the jack sank into the driveway!! Take your money elsewhere this guy is a true asphalt crook!!!!! I firmly believe the good reviews were posted by himself. Pete, you have my hard earned money and you have proven yourself to be unreliable. Pete and his dad Bernie will come off as some of the nicest, most sincere people, but once they have your money in hand you’ll never see them again! 1 year warranty? More like taillight warranty... as soon as you don’t see his taillights the warranty is over. Don’t be the next victim, shop elsewhere! After giving Pete months to save face and fix the driveway, I contacted two other local asphalt companies to see about fixing their mess, both agreed the driveway needs to be ripped out and replaced. They wouldn’t even waste money seal coating it, as the top layer is crumbling. Look at my pictures on my google review to see Pete’s fine work, pictures will speak for itself. I wish I would have researched this guy further, BBB reviews say a lot. Criminal.

Our family is highly satisfied with the attention to detail that Correct Roofing poured into restoring our home. Correct Roofing definitely takes pride in the work that they do. Moreover, it was clear throughout the entire process on what type of work was optional but optimal to have our home be the most efficient in terms of energy savings and protection from the elements. Lastly, all our concerns as work was completed were addressed even if it was them adding to our understanding of how certain fixes were done and why. First speaking to their attention to detail. We hired Correct Roofing after they were highly recommended by one of our family members. Our home was damaged after a week-long exposure to wind, hail and rain. My wife and I noticed damage to the ceiling of our nursery. I had four different contractors review the damage, but most did not want to review the home for further damage until our insurance company approved a claim. Except for Sam from Correct Roofing. Sam was the only person that crawled through the attic with me to review other parts of the home for other hidden parts that were damaged because of the storm. Sam also walked me through the entire house and explained to me how the claim process typically works in language that I could understand. Throughout the process I felt that his team were also advocates in providing small details that gave it a human touch. For example, they installed trim around the attic access and the skylights. These were small items that weren’t asked for but very much appreciated to increase the aesthetic appeal of our home. Thank you so much Correct Roofing for those small details. Secondly, it was my experience that the team at Correct Roofing did an excellent job at communicating throughout the entire process. I was clear on what work was going to be done and when it was going to be done. Also, I was very aware of what work was covered and what work would be ideal for our home to be at its optimal performance. For example, one thing I did not know before the start of the project was how baffles worked and why they were important. Sam fully explained the benefits of having baffles but also gave me the time and the choice to have them installed as they were not covered by insurance. We ended up paying for the baffles because we believed it would be beneficial to have them installed but we always felt empowered that we knew we had a choice in installing them or not. This is one of several examples of how well they communicated to us throughout the process and how we always felt the power to choose. In the end, our house feels warmer both physically and emotionally because of the consultative approach Correct Roofing provided us with. Lastly, it’s refreshing to know that people take pride in their work. For example, when the siding was replaced on the garage there was an accidental nail nick on wiring to one of the lamps which caused a loss of power to the garage. When I mentioned it to Sam, he quickly sent Don over to fix the issue. Not only did he happily fix it, Don also took the time to teach me how the electricity was wired. I mention this because now I know how to trouble shoot electrical problems which is valuable as a homeowner. Furthermore, I also had a concern with water leaking from the siding. When I mentioned it to Ginny, she quickly paged the contractor who was going to be on site anyway. They took the time to pull the siding to show me that it was completely dry, and the siding was doing its job. I now know that siding has what’s called weeping holes which is useful to release any moisture away from the home. In our case, the moisture was caused because that part of the house is near our laundry room which is creating some moisture but is being released by the siding.
