"Excellent service. Price was fair, work crew was prompt and professional. Removed large 5 trees and a couple of them were leaning badly, it was a lot of work. Very pleased with the care they took to avoid damaging the yard and other trees in the work area."

Small jobs welcome

"It has been a long time since I went into a home project with minimum expectations and was thoroughly impressed beyond any of my possible expectations. I wanted 4 big trees removed. Tyler pointed out there were other trees that definitely needed to be removed. He didn't hesitate, he did much of his own work, but also had appropriate staff and equipment when needed. He is very knowledgeable, efficient and definitely hard working. Even my neighbor hired him to remove a very large leaning pine tree. I would highly recommend Tree Me Kindly."

"Exceptional Tree Service: Mountain View Tree Service I recently had the pleasure of hiring Mountain View Tree Service for the removal, stump grinding, and cleanup of an Alberta spruce tree on my property, and I am delighted to share my experience. Their efficiency, and attention to detail truly set them apart from other tree service companies I have worked with in the past. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, Mountain View Tree Service demonstrated great customer service. Their knowledgeable team provided a thorough assessment of the tree, offering valuable insights and recommendations regarding the removal process. When it came time for the tree removal.. They worked diligently, using their equipment to ensure the safe and swift removal of the tree. They took great care to avoid any damage to the surrounding landscape and property. The stump grinding performed by Mountain View Tree Service was equally impressive. They did a deep grind to the tree stump, leaving no trace behind. The result was a smooth and level surface, ready for landscaping. Once the tree was removed and the stump was ground, the team cleaned up the entire area. There was no debris or mess left behind. Overall, Mountain View Tree Service exceeded my expectations in every way. Their professionalism, expertise and efficiency were commendable. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of tree removal, stump grinding, or related services. If you are seeking a reliable and top-notch tree service company, look no further than Mountain View Tree Service. I will undoubtedly turn to them again in the future should the need arise. Thanks to Lee and his crew for the great job."

"We highly recommend Timber Valley Tree Co., LLC. Their team took down two 100 ft. trees that were diseased and located close to two cabins. They did an awesome job of dropping limbs and both trees without damaging any other trees, bushes, sheds that were close by. They were also very thorough in their cleanup of the site. Their proposal was very detailed and took into consideration our specific needs. They were professional and pleasant to work with from the start. If we need further tree service, they would be the ones we would call. Jack S 5/6/24 Sacheen Lake"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You can shape a cherry tree by trimming vertical branches, dense branches, and intersecting branches. Your personal aesthetic comes into play, as well. If you want to simply thin and shape the tree, you can get away with trimming the aforementioned parts of your cherry tree. If you want to shorten branches, however, consider thinning cuts, which alter the length of the branches while encouraging light penetration, new buds and shoots, and a structurally-sound shape.

Not all leaning trees are dangerous, but they can be a hazard as gravity may eventually cause them to fall. A key factor is whether the lean is new or has been present for a long time. Trees that have grown with a lean for years are not typically an immediate danger, but a sudden lean is a cause for concern as it often indicates weakening roots. If a tree is leaning more than 15% from vertical, you should consider having it straightened or transplanted. To be safe, it's always best to hire a professional arborist to inspect any leaning tree to assess the risk and avoid potential accidents.

Often, it’s the homeowner’s responsibility to handle the aftermath when a neighbor’s tree falls on their property. But if a tree has been obviously dead for a significant period of time and caused damage when it fell, a case can be made that the owner should have removed it, especially if the neighbor wrote you a letter about the tree or asked you to take it down. This can be grounds for a successful lawsuit in claims court and is a good reason to always pay attention to your trees and remove dead trees before they fall.

Large, established tree branches won’t grow roots, but if you find a young tree branch that’s less than about a year old, you’ve got a shot. Put it in water or soil as soon as possible for best results. You’ll know the branch is viable if it’s about the thickness of a pencil and has some leaves or needles.

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.
