"I called PMG late summer of 2018. I was very impressed with the professionalism shown. I told them I wanted them back for complete HVAC system replace in April 2019. They are not pushy. They are honest. They display integrity. They answered all my questions. Most of all, they perform quality work. You get the feeling that there are no "hidden" fees and you would be correct! My energy bill was cut almost in half because of the newer, more efficient systems available today. I highly recommend PMG."

"Brandon came out and installed a new HVAC system in our home. He was honest and very knowledgeable in the work that was being performed. Our old HVAC unit was worn out and he got us a great heating and cooling system that will last a very long time. Brandon was not only knowledgable but he was fast and had it up and running the very next day I am happy to say I will be using them again for my future projects and services."

Heating and Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

No. Evaporator coils are designed to work with specific refrigerant types, and they are rated by what kinds of refrigerant they use. It’s indicated with an “R” code. It’s important to match your evaporator coil and refrigerant or your system will not work properly. An AC technician can tell you what type of refrigerant your system needs and what evaporator coils will work with it.

There are a few reasons your AC is running but not cooling your room. Thermostat issues and dust and debris, which can clog your system, are common problems. It could also be a broken component, such as a compressor, blower fan, or evaporator coils. You’ll need to call a pro to diagnose the issue.

Water buildup in your HVAC system is a cause for alarm. If water accumulates in your ductwork, it can drastically lower your home's air quality and create safety hazards. These risks include mold growth, damage to your HVAC system, and attracting pests that are seeking water into your ducts. Proper insulation and sealing of ducts can prevent this, and regular inspection and maintenance can address water damage problems before they become too severe.

An air conditioner’s watt usage depends on multiple factors, including the type of AC unit, its size, and how often you use it. With that said, most central air conditioners consume between 3,000 and 3,500 watts. Meanwhile, window AC units use 900 to 1,400 watts, and portable air conditioners consume 2,900 to 4,100 watts.

Yes, a frozen AC unit can affect your indoor air quality since the reduced airflow won't be as effective at removing air pollutants, like dust and other allergens. Additionally, ice around the unit can create excess moisture, leading to mold and mildew that can damage your home if you don’t catch it early.
