"Karin's communication and work was fantastic. We needed a hot tub pad installed at our cabin, which was over an hour out of town. Karin was able to give us timely, reliable dates and got the job done within the given scope. While he initially looked at the job, he willingly offered several additional bids on new projects that were very competitive in pricing, and completed those within scope as well. After the projects were complete, we were given pictures and videos. He also did an amazing job standing by his work, as there were a few adjustments that we wanted to have done after the completion and he had a crew up there within the week. I would highly recommend Cora Construction for any concrete project you may have."

"We've tried about 10 different landscaping companies and Forest Landscaping is by the far the best we've ever dealt with. They were the fastest, nicest, and most fair-priced out of any. If you want to work with people who definitely are the masters of their craft and serious about their reputation, then you need to book these guys. They worked around our ridiculous schedule and got 3 days worth of work done in 1 day for us. I don't consider myself a lazy person, but I definitely felt like one seeing how much passion and energy they put into their business. They were the talk of the cul-de-sac that day and my neighbors will still stop me and comment on how great of a job they did and how impressive they were."

"Home Advisor jumped the gun misidentified the project and they were not hired. This is an issue with Home Advisor, they don't read the project before they start sending out for quotes."

"I was extremely pleased with this company. They were prompt, professional and friendly. They took the time to look through my crawlspace and came back with 2 concerns with pictures and very fair estimate. And didn't pressure or over exaggerate the concerns. Very pleased."

Masonry questions, answered by experts

You can use normal bricks as cladding for a concrete or clay pizza oven or as a base underneath one. Fire bricks or solid clay bricks are necessary for an outdoor pizza oven’s floor, and you can use clay bricks for the rest of the oven.

Clean regularly, check for cracks, and inspect the chimney annually for safety.

You may not need a hammer drill if you’re planning on drilling one or two very small diameter holes in brick. For holes with a diameter of 3/16-inch or less, a regular drill with a masonry bit can do the job. However, the bit will heat up quickly, and the process will take significantly longer than with a hammer drill. Prepare to cool your drill bit down in a bucket of water more often.

It is possible, albeit a lot slower, to break up a rock using water. You would do this by freezing and thawing the water. You could create some initial holes or cracks in the rock, then pour water into the cracks or holes and allow them to freeze (so it's best to do this in winter or in colder climates). Since water expands when it freezes, this puts pressure on the inside of the rock and causes it to crack. You could continue to pour more water in and let it freeze to continue to break up the rock.

Use fire bricks for a brick pizza oven. These bricks are typically used for fireplaces and chimneys as they can withstand high temperatures from heat sources. If you attempt to use any other kind of bricks, it’s likely that this material will crack from such high heat exposure in the best case—and potentially explode and cause serious harm in the worst case.
