"All Service Moving was exceptional. Great customer service - easy to schedule and flexible. Royce & Frost did an AMAZING job moving all of our very heavy and fragile belongings. They handled all of our requests and items with care and worked both efficiently and quickly. They were super friendly and very customer service oriented. I can't thank them enough for the GREAT job they did. I highly recommend All Service Moving for anything moving and/or storage related. And DEFINITELY request Royce & Frost to handle your job. Thank You!"

Boise, ID 12/31/2022 Find Moving Services - Local (Within State) One of the movers, Joe was extra amazing. I have alot of health problems so I take alot of prescribed medication. I lost track of them and was going crazy looking for them. Not only an hour after moving I recieved a call from JOE, advising he was concerned that I wouldnt find them. He stayed on the phone until he directed me to them. WOW, what customer service. I cant say enough about both movers Joe and James. They were very careful with my breakable items and everything else. They even took a moment to give a few belly rubs to my dog. So we all were very happy. Thank You"

Moving questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can very carefully lay down a grandfather clock to move it, but it requires a bit of prep work. Remember, all of your clock's components and mechanisms are delicate, and shifting them can cause serious damage. Before laying it down, you will need to remove these pieces, plus the weights and the pendulum.

Yes, you can take your potted plants with you when you move if you use sterilized potting soil. However, some states have strict guidelines about this practice, so it’s best to consult the Department of Agriculture’s regulations surrounding pest control and plant types ahead of your move.

Professionals can provide comprehensive planning, logistical support, packing services, and clear communication to minimize moving stress. Their experience allows for efficient handling of belongings, ensuring a seamless and organized transition to a new location.

Yes, it is cheaper to move yourself than to hire professional movers. The average DIY move costs $120 to $2,300, while professionals cost $890 to $2,570 on average or up to $12,000 for the longest distances. While you’ll save on the cost of professional labor with a DIY move, you’ll spend more time and energy packing, loading, transporting, unloading, and unpacking.

It can be tempting to want to help your movers as they pack or transport your belongings, but in general, most movers prefer their customers to stay out of the way. Rest assured that your movers are confident in their skills and the process will likely go faster without your help. If you see something concerning, let your movers know right away so they can adjust or remedy the issue.
