"The team from Modern Landscape got our project done quickly. They were very attentive to our requests and changes throughout the project. They removed an old swimming pool and replaced it with a large water feature, patio, and walk ways. The final project is beautiful. I would recommend them for any landscape project large or small."

"Awesome! Called immediately and then showed up a few hours later after putting in request. Finished the project, a 400sqft concrete patio in my backyard, less than a week later. A little pricey in my opinion, but the work, communication, and finished product could not have been better. You get what you pay for I suppose. Highly recommend!"

"Colima Concrete exceeded my expectations. I received a fair quote for my 30x10 Patio extension and the quality of work was excellent. The crew was prompt and professional. I already have another project lined up with Colima Concrete and highly recommend for anyone in the local area. Glad they were able to fit us in so quickly so we can enjoy the nice weather in our backyard."

Small jobs welcome

"My project included planting of two trees and some perennials plus refresh of bark. The crew arrived as planned and worked hard to complete the job. An unexpected issue came up with the area in which one of the trees was to be planted. It was quickly and efficiently resolved. The jobsite was left in pristine shape when they were gone. The trees were properly supported and I was given instructions for their care. Ethan was friendly and professional. We had several conversations regarding the variety of trees and plantings to use and his recommendations were very helpful. He strives to do a great job and does. I highly recommend Cowboy Ridge Landscape and Ethan for any landscaping projects you may need."

"Pave Hawk was hired to do an addition to an existing cement patio, with a sitting wall, and cap. The patio was stamped concrete and colored. They have accomplished the desired outcome. We did need some flexibility about timing, as they have gotten very busy, during the project. All in all, they have done a great job, The people, especially Leon, were great to work with. Terry, while out of state, still kept in touch to stay on top of the project and keep me informed as needed. Jared was also helpful in the process, and communication was frequent, and dependable. I would recommend them. We are happy with the results!"

"Forest Landscaping was great to work with. Erika was very helpful and knowledgeable. What I really appreciate was the fact that they started the job when promised, they cleaned the job site each day, they showed up each day at the scheduled time and finished when promised. They are very professional. We are happy with the landscape and jobs they completed in our back yard."

"Iâ d like to share the 100% positive experience we had working with Kody and his team at Art of the Earth, which transformed our backyard from ordinary to extraordinary. We couldnâ t be happier with the results. We first met with Kody and his wife, Caitlin, in April, just after we moved in to our new home in Meridian. It had some bare bones, builder provided landscaping, but we wanted to create a more enjoyable backyard experience. We wanted an extended paver patio area, a water feature, gas fire pit and BBQ, patio cover incorporated into a new landscape design. Kody got back to us very quickly with a creative plan, and a detailed estimate, including the plants, trees, ground cover, paver patio, electrical work, modifying the existing irrigation system, putting in the gas line, patio cover through ShadeWorks, etc. Kody has an excellent reputation, so he gets booked during the season very quickly. The earliest availability was late September and was estimated to take about 4 weeks. Kodyâ s plan included taking down a section of our corner lot fence, gaining access through existing HOA landscaping to grade, add topsoil, boulders, bring in large trees, pavers, etc. I was concerned that I might get some resistance from my HOA, but after submitting Kodyâ s plan, the HOA approved everything in less than a week! One of the best things about working with Kody was that he is personally involved in the project from start to finish. That means you will see the owner of the company on site, daily, working with his team to take care of every detail to make your yard into a place where you can entertain, or just chill and enjoy the space. Itâ s easy to get answers to any questions during the project or updates on timelines. Kody also shared some additional ideas as the project was progressing that were spot on and took everything to another level. We loved his creativity and vision. The project was a solid 4 weeks of 5 days a week, 9-5 (sometimes after 5). All members of Kodyâ s team were outstanding, conscientious and personable. After the project was completed, Kody did a thorough job restoring the HOA landscaping and fence. Kody power washed the street, sidewalks and gutters to clean up any residue of landscaping material so everything ended up cleaner than when he started. You will always feel like you are his number one priority. Communication was outstanding and always timely, whether it was in the initial meeting, getting a plan and an estimate, after giving the deposit, or while Kody and his team are actively working on the project. There was never a day when we had to wonderâ ¦where are Kody and the Art of the Earth team? All you had to do was look in the back yard. Our sincere thanks and appreciation for Kody and his entire team for a great experience and a wonderful landscape that we can now enjoy."

Patios questions, answered by experts

Whether it's better to add a sunroom or a regular room to your home depends on your goals. If you need extra bedrooms, building rooms with four standard walls makes more sense than adding a sunroom. If you don't need extra sleeping areas but would like to expand the living space of your home, a sunroom makes sense.

The least expensive way to enclose a porch is with screens. These protect the room by preventing insects from entering and, if you live in a warm climate, provide excellent airflow during hot summer months. Screens cost far less than any other alternative, so if you are against getting permits, spending too much, or enclosing your porch in walls or glass, screens are the best choice.

A covered deck can be a good investment that increases your home value—especially if you live in a hot region with a lot of sun. A covering over the deck means you can get more use out of it, even on the hottest summer days. With a permanent deck covering, you can even add ceiling fans to help cool down your deck for added comfort.

Yes, with custom measurements ensuring perfect fit and function.

In almost all cases, you will need permits if you plan on building a sunroom over your patio, but regulations and requirements will depend on your municipality. Permits to enclose your patio will usually cost between $300 and $1,000. Since navigating local building codes and zoning requirements is challenging—and the consequences of not following them can be extremely expensive—we strongly recommend hiring a sunroom builder to complete the work and pull the permits for you.
