"Troy and crew did a tremendous job for us, we have a large home with a steep roof. Troy was very responsive throughout the entire process, the crew cleaned up the site at the end of each day and did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for roofing repairs or an entire new roof like we had done."

"After listening to my needs and concerns Jason arranged for a time to meet at Buresh's showroom to further discuss the products they use and how they are used to gain the maximum efficiency.  My wife and I really needed this information as this is our first major home improvement project by a contractor.  Taking the time to explain all the details made the decision to award the contract to Buresh a logical choice.

We settled on a date and waited anxiously but unfortunately mother nature was not kind and caused delays.  Jason kept in contact and provided regular updates to when the work would begin.  AS soon as the weather cleared Gilbert's crew started at 7AM and worked diligently until the job was to a point that in the event of further rain I would had nothing to worry about.  At the end of the first day my yard was spotless.  Sure the grass was walked on but that was the only noticeable hint beside a new roof that work was performed.

The next day the crew arrived and put the finishing touches on the new roof.  I completed the walk around with Gilbert and received a final invoice with all the work that was performed.  The final bill was slightly higher but that was caused by a few extra boards needing to be replaced, which was completely expected.

From the beginning to the end Buresh treated us with complete professionalism.  Sure my job was not a hue contract, but it was to my wife and I.  I will not hesitate to contact them again for any work that I need to have performed."

The Villa Awning has a full cassette protecting the fabric when retracted. It is available in smaller mounting widths, and due to a different type of support in the awning frame, it does not require as much frame support.

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Framing a roof can take from several days to a week or more, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, the number of people working on the framing, weather conditions, and more. Roof framing is often the final step of framing a house, although in some cases, the roof may be framed before the interior of the home in order to offer more protection from the elements.

Moving a chimney is possible, but it is a very complex process that requires professional expertise, knowledge of building codes, and safety protocols. Most homeowners find it easier to remove the fireplace and build a new fireplace and chimney in the new location of your home. Talk to your chimney pro about all your options, their costs, and pros and cons.

A well-maintained tile roof can last anywhere from 40 to over 100 years, with its exact lifespan depending on the material and level of care. Proper maintenance, which includes keeping the roof clean, free of debris, and performing routine repairs for any cracked tiles, is crucial for longevity. The lifespan varies significantly by tile type:

  • Clay, terracotta, and slate tiles are highly durable and can last over 100 years.

  • Concrete tiles typically last from 30 to 100 years.

  • Metal tile roofs generally last between 40 and 70 years.

  • Composite tile roofs have a lifespan of 20 to 50 years.

Be aware that maintenance for a tile roof can sometimes be more expensive than for an asphalt roof.

Yes, gable vents can let water in. That being said, this usually only occurs during extreme conditions like heavy rainfall. You can prevent water from entering through gable vents by adding a screen that traps the water before it can enter.

The best kind of tarp for a roof is one that will stand up to the elements, weather, and sun. Viny roof tarps are known for their durability and resistance to water, tears, and mold—making these tarps a good choice for use in winter conditions and the summer sun. Polyethylene tarps are also quite durable and waterproof.
