"After the big hail storm, I had to have my roof, gutters and gutter covers replaced. My neighbor recommended Quick Roofing. Eddie was very easy to deal with and they got both of my houses fixed in a very short time. Everything looks great."

"Our experience with Buresh was excellent from beginning to end.  Brian was great to work with, gave us various options for covering our patio, and came in at the cost quoted.  The louvered roof is of very high quality, and one year in, we absolutely love the product.  It was a bit more expensive than we were hoping to spend, but I would definitely use Buresh again for any home improvement projects we have.  They're a great team!

The Villa Awning has a full cassette protecting the fabric when retracted. It is available in smaller mounting widths, and due to a different type of support in the awning frame, it does not require as much frame support.

"They promptly called us back with a quote for our 2 story home with high roof. Got us on the schedule for 2 days later. They showed up on time. They cleaned the gutters on a roof that there was no way I was willing to get upon. They were quick and cleaned up leaving the ground better than it was. Very polite and professional. Would recommend them to anyone.

"Jose (owner) and his helper completed the project the same week I requested a contractor. They contacted me the day as my request. They completed the job and also pointed out that my chimney had no flashing. I asked if they could accomplish the task the same day which they did. Jose also gave me a free quote to roof the house as well as the garage. Their prices are very reasonable and in line with said projects. Kudos DLR Construction."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Tar and gravel roofs last an average of 30 years, which is longer than the average lifespan of many other flat roofs. The gravel on top of the waterproof membrane helps protect the roof from UV damage and physical damage, so if you keep your roof drains clear and carry out annual roof inspections to catch issues early, you could see up to 40 years of useful life from your roof.

Clay tile roofing is common for traditional villas, while flat roofs are more standard for modern villa homes. Clay tile roofs are long-lasting, require little maintenance, and are great for warmer climates. Flat roofs are usually low-cost, energy-efficient, and allow for rooftop gardens.

The roof pitch on a Cape Cod house is normally 8/12 or 10/12, meaning the roof rises 8 to 10 inches for every 12 inches of horizontal run. This is steeper than the now-standard 6/12 pitch, as Cape Cod homes were originally popular in northern states, where the steeper pitch helped snowfall slide readily off the roof.

Shingle roofing can last anywhere from 15 to 50 years, depending on the type and quality of shingle, your local climate, and how well you maintain your roof. If you live in an area that sees extreme weather, like strong winds, hail storms, or hurricanes, the average life span of a shingle roof will often be on the shorter end, especially if you choose a more affordable roof shingle that isn’t designed to persist through extreme weather.

No, a metal roof will not make your house hot. In fact, metal roofs help keep your home cooler by reflecting heat instead of absorbing and transmitting it inside. Metal also has high thermal conductivity, which means it gains and loses heat quickly. While the sun may heat the metal, the roof rapidly transfers that heat back into the air rather than retaining it. This reflective property can lead to energy cost savings of up to 40%, as your cooling system won't need to work as hard to maintain a consistent indoor temperature.
