"I was really tickled when the Limitless team took extra time and trouble to implement some special touches I requested during our tub-to-shower reno. Specifically, Ryan and Dawson salvaged and chipped away at a few tiles from the demo'd 1955 tub wall. They used these inside the shampoo niche to tie the new shower in with the rest of the retro-cool seafoam green tile that we love and chose to keep in place. Ryan also used his skills and tools to replace my ceramic TP holder with one I had bought overseas. And when I realized I didn't love the trendy rainfall shower head, they swapped it out. There were a few minor mix-ups/mistakes along the way. But most were fixed with no problem. And I was very pleased with the finished work! Everyone I worked with (Christina, Lance, Jeremiah, Ryan & crew) was very professional, and accessible....great communication! The total cost still seemed expensive to me. But I don't have much experience with home renovation to compare."

This is our first bathroom remodel so we weren't sure what to expect.  I had read several reviews on Angie's List and Derrick seemed to have the best reviews in the category we were looking at (bathroom and kitchen remodeling).  I asked him to provide an estimate and thought his costs were reasonable, so we selected him to perform the work.  My wife and I did a significant amount of prep work before the project started, removed baseboards, freestanding cabinets, toilet, closet door and trim. We wanted them to start demolition as soon as they arrived.  We also did all the finish work after Derrick left, i.e. paint, baseboards, bi-fold door and trim.   Some additional thoughts:

- Derrick and Scott are great, extremely professional and punctual.  I wouldn't hesitate to have them back for additional projects. 

- Derrick will tell you he's not a design consultant, but lucky for us he works closely with Tile and Stone Express in Douglasville.  Aura helped us pick out the materials and looks we wanted in our new bathroom. 

- Be sure to let Derrick know if you want the tile installed in a certain fashion i.e. "on diagonal".  His estimate called our for a certain square footage of floor tile which is what we purchased, unfortunately it was enough to complete the floor when installed on 45's.  This was not an issue, since Tile & Stone had additional tile in stock that Derrick graciously picked up overnight. 

- Be prepared for the mess associated with demolition.  They tried their best to contain the dust;  however, anytime you break up existing tile and backer board you are going to have dust. 

- Frameless shower glass was provided by Superior Shower Doors of Atlanta.  They measured after the shower pan and curb were finished and the glass arrived exactly one week later. 

BOTTOM LINE:  THE BATHROOM LOOKS GREAT!

"Lar-Con construction did a fantastic job on our recent kitchen and half bath remodel. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Larry, the owner, was extremely easy to work with and offered helpful suggestions that made our plans a reality. He and his crew were always pleasant and professional. They let us know approximately what time they would arrive each day, and the focus of their work for the next day. They took care to keep the dust and construction materials confined to the work area. Larry spent a great deal of time explaining the difference between ready-made, semi-custom, and custom cabinets and how they might work in our kitchen. He suggested we might want to work with a custom cabinet maker to accommodate the odd angles in our kitchen. He suggested a reputable cabinet maker who did a fantastic job developing a workable plan for our kitchen. Larry worked closely with the cabinet maker coordinating installation of the cabinets and countertops. Larry and his crew took the time and effort to complete work as if they were working on their own home. When an unexpected sub-floor repair was necessitated due to a hidden water leak, the crew took it in stride and worked it into their schedule, replacing the sub-floor. They also went into the crawl space to inspect the floor joists for water damage, repaired and replaced them as needed, and even added an additional vent to the crawl space area to create cross ventilation. Larry worked with the contractor we had hired for flooring installation, and was on hand the day the flooring was installed, helping insure it was installed professionally. We felt comfortable enough with Larry and his crew that we were able to take an out of state trip while the work was in progress. While we were gone, Larry sent photos of the work they completed each day and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We are so pleased with the quality of work completed and the work ethic demonstrated by the entire crew of Lar-Con Construction that we have already scheduled a master bath renovation."

"This is the second time that Raven has done work for me and I was very pleased with the overall quality of the work. The only ding which isn't a major one was that Raven replaced some rotten wood around the door area and the old wood was left on site and was not thrown away. Again, nothing major and it could have simply been a result of it being a long day. The overall work was still very impressive."
