I couldn’t be happier with how my basement remodel turned out! From start to finish, the team was professional, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. They helped transform what used to be an ok man cave to a custom at home personal sports bar!! The craftsmanship is top-notch —lighting, and trim work are all flawless. They also stayed right on schedule and within budget, which is rare these days. I especially appreciated how they communicated and was not thrown off by the ongoing questions and changes that was thrown at them. Now we have a beautiful new living area that’s perfect for family gatherings and guests. I’d absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their basement or any part of their home. Outstanding work! We will be giving them a call in a few months to remodel our master bathroom. Great guys not only as contractors but in general also made new friends!!!

Referred to Lar Construction from one of my real estate associates, we used the site and found two very reliable contractors to give us bids on our bathroom, we hired one of them whose price was very reasonable and we were quite very happy with the job and the reliability of the company, I would use Lar Construction again for sure

LAR Construction and Remodeling provided excellent design recommendations for our master bath. Once a design/layout was agreed upon, we were provided 3D images of what the end product would look like, once the project was completed, it was amazing on how accurate the plan images were compared to the actual bathroom! We are definitely pleased.

We called LAR Construction for a kitchen remodel project. After talking to several other contractors we decided to go with Lar Construction and are so happy with their work! I love my new kitchen! On November 18, we had an unfortunate mishap at my house. Someone crashed through my garage door, hitting my parked car and slamming it into my load-bearing bathroom wall. My car was trapped in the garage and there was cold air leaking into the bathroom. I will first start by praising God nobody was hurt. And now I will express my appreciation for Lar-Con Construction. Mr. Rowland and his crew were professional and courteous. The excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail given to this project were phenomenal as well as the timeliness in getting the project done. Lar-Con was there on Thanksgiving Week to start the project. The crew showed up when they said they would - every time. They made sure floors and walls were protected while they did their work and cleaned up every day before they left. Mr. Rowland kept in contact with me on this project and was always available whenever I had questions. My new garage door works better than ever. The wall looks like there was never any damage and the bathroom looks wonderful, even better than the original. I would hire Lar-Con Construction again in a heartbeat. This company is now the official builder of my household.

Larry was very timely in his response and quick to send an estimate. He was very thorough in his explanation of what was necessary to fix my home. He also matched the color of my other pillars in the front of my home perfectly. A neighbor even came over at the end of the repair to get a estimate on some work for his home! Thanks, Larry!

They installed a metal roof on a large outbuilding next to my house. They did a great job and were very easy to work with. I'm very happy with the results.

This project was the an awesome and fun process! From experience I haven't had a lot of faith in general contractors. Larry Rowland is the best contractor I have ever encountered! He went above and beyond to make sure the project was to perfection. He made sure everything was as I expected and made sure I was completely happy before he left! He is so easy to work with which was a pleasure compared to other projects. My husband and I have other projects in the works and I am so excited to work with Larry and his team again in the near future. I love the way it has changed my kitchen! I love, love, love it!!! Great service, looks great

Larry is a gem! He is an absolute professional from beginning to end. Larry came out to give me an estimate on painting our cabinets and interior touch up paint, and I could tell he not only was extremely knowledgeable but trustworthy too. He is so easy going and very easy to work with. Once we decided to use Lar Con Construction for work on our home, he stayed in constant contact with me. We had already moved out of the home when the guys started working on the home. But Larry kept me informed and sent pictures throughout the entire process which I really appreciated since I wasn't there. Even when I brought things to his attention that I needed fixed that I forgot to tell him about in the beginning, he just went with it. He actually told me initially, you won't know for sure what all you need done until you move. And boy was he right! As he was doing a walk through, he even found things we missed and would reach out and say, do you want me to fix this or that. He treated us like we were family and you can tell he puts 100% into everything he does. He did an AMAZING job on the cabinets and the other things around the house. You can tell he loves what he does. Moving is stressful enough, but he totally made this process an easy one. We didn't have to worry about anything! He has been an absolute blessing!

Larry is not only a man of his word and professional, he went beyond all expectations to help us in a time crunch due to the house closing in less than 2 weeks. He not only repaired the joists but finished a day early... that was a bonus! Highly recommend.

Lar-Con construction did a fantastic job on our recent kitchen and half bath remodel. We couldn’t be happier with the results. Larry, the owner, was extremely easy to work with and offered helpful suggestions that made our plans a reality. He and his crew were always pleasant and professional. They let us know approximately what time they would arrive each day, and the focus of their work for the next day. They took care to keep the dust and construction materials confined to the work area. Larry spent a great deal of time explaining the difference between ready-made, semi-custom, and custom cabinets and how they might work in our kitchen. He suggested we might want to work with a custom cabinet maker to accommodate the odd angles in our kitchen. He suggested a reputable cabinet maker who did a fantastic job developing a workable plan for our kitchen. Larry worked closely with the cabinet maker coordinating installation of the cabinets and countertops. Larry and his crew took the time and effort to complete work as if they were working on their own home. When an unexpected sub-floor repair was necessitated due to a hidden water leak, the crew took it in stride and worked it into their schedule, replacing the sub-floor. They also went into the crawl space to inspect the floor joists for water damage, repaired and replaced them as needed, and even added an additional vent to the crawl space area to create cross ventilation. Larry worked with the contractor we had hired for flooring installation, and was on hand the day the flooring was installed, helping insure it was installed professionally. We felt comfortable enough with Larry and his crew that we were able to take an out of state trip while the work was in progress. While we were gone, Larry sent photos of the work they completed each day and responded quickly to any questions or concerns we had. We are so pleased with the quality of work completed and the work ethic demonstrated by the entire crew of Lar-Con Construction that we have already scheduled a master bath renovation.

Larry confirmed that the shower pan was not cracked, which would have been a big project to get fixed. He removed and replaced the compromised sealant all the way around the shower. He used a more reliable product when he replaced it. While working he noticed that the seal was compromised in several other places, causing moisture and mold to accumulate. He fixed this as well because he cares about the quality of his work. The was thorough and professional. He did not try to nickel and dime us. I also asked him to look at the sealant on our kitchen counters and the doorframe/ lock to one of the doors. I did not include the additional work in the cost I listed. He fixed both at a reasonable price, even though that was not the reason for the service call.

Larry is great to work with. Our recent home repair started with Larry finding a leak in our plumbing in the crawl space that he took care of without a problem. And saved me from having to scramble and find a plumber to come in and fix things up. Larry did a great job reinforcing the floor. After pouring some footers he added a beam to the over extended floor joists to add stability in preparation of replacing the carpet with wood grained tiles. Larry also repaired some of the floor joists that had split over time due to being too long. I'll definitely use Larry for any other projects that might come up around the house.

Larry was great to work with on all aspects of my remodel. He is very knowledgeable and was able to come up with solutions to the task at hand that looks great in my house. I would recommend Lar Con to anyone and will continue to hire for any upcoming jobs I might have.

Project went great. I was very nervous about hiring someone and giving them access to my home for several weeks. I really trusted Larry and he has become like family to us. I will hire no one else as long as he is in the business.

Larry made the suggestion to replace the tiles with a piece of marble, which I love. He did an excellent job with the repair and kept me informed during each step in the process. I would definitely hire him again. And he's a nice guy to boot.

Larry came out to look at the job of a basement remodel and immediately noticed the beam issue before we said anything. We decided at this time to just fix the support structure. We eventually want a wall under one beam but we wanted to leave the other part of the room open. Larry came out and used jacks to straighten out the beams and then built a wall under the one beam that will be finished in a future job and then braced and supported the open beam.He used an LVL beam the proper size and length and built up the column to make the house sound again. Very knowledgeable and we would highly recommend Lar-Con.

It was a pleasure to work with Larry, Lane and their crew. They were very courteous and flexible. The bathroom was exactly what I wanted. Both jobs was first rate and well worth the money.
