"Omar was so professional and gave me the best price after doing my research. He was the first person to come look at my tree. I wanted branches cut but he suggested to cut the pine tree which was even better. He cleaned all the branches away. I am very satisfied. I will definitely reach out if I need another tree cut"

"I called Tymberland Stump Removal on 7/27/21, they came out promptly and gave me a very fair and reasonable quote to grind two tree stumps. He came prepared to do the work then. The young man did a fantastic job. He was very polite, kind and professional. I would highly recommend him to perform any stump removal you may have. May I also add that I used them a few years ago and they are still just as great as ever!! I am a very satisfied customer."

"Jose of Stump Grinding Solutions did a fantastic 5 rated job! He explained how he would do the work, he gave us a very fair quote, he did the job exactly how he said he would and he cleaned up the area before he left. "Spartan did an outstanding job on our property. We hired them for a full structure demolition and some land clearing/mulching, and they handled everything from start to finish with zero issues. The demo was clean, controlled, and done faster than expected. They showed up with the right equipment, stayed on schedule, and kept the site safe the entire time. What really stood out was how organized they were — no confusion, no delays, just straight execution. After the demo, they handled the mulching and clearing, and the transformation was night and day. The property went from overgrown and unusable to clean, level, and ready for the next phase. Communication was solid throughout the whole process, and pricing was straightforward with no surprises. If you need demolition, land clearing, or mulching work done right, Spartan is the company to call. I’ll definitely be using them again."

Customers say: Quick response

"Jose and his whole crew were very fast, proficient, and efficient. They took down a very large nearly 4 ft wide red oak that was only 10 feet from our house and was over-hanging utility and power lines. They did it in less time and for thousands less than any other company had estimated. I would certainly recommend them!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Yes, you should trim the lower branches of your maple tree for safety. Trimming maple trees as they grow helps lift the crown and canopy and trains it to grow straight up. A good rule of thumb is to prune enough branches to leave 6 feet of clearance under the tree.

After a big storm, you may not be sure if a tree was struck or not. Look for the telltale long scars, like strips or gouges in the bark of the tree, running in sometimes jagged lines down the length of the trunk. These scars will often show vulnerable living wood inside the tree. It’s also common to see scorched or wilted leaves on the side or top of the tree where lightning struck.

It can be bad to leave a dead stump in the ground. A stump becomes a hefty piece of dead wood in time and eventually (especially with the help of rain) starts to rot. That makes it a locus point for diseases and pesky insects, as well as a bit of an eyesore. It’s best to remove a tree stump completely before it starts to decay, especially before it starts to fall apart. If the tree was removed because of disease, it’s even more important to fully remove the stump if possible.

Peach trees grow to be about 25 feet, so keep this in mind for pruning as well. If you plan to DIY, you’ll need to be comfortable working on a ladder. Without pruning, peach tree branches can sprawl nearly as wide as the tree grows tall, so make sure to plan pruning sessions at least once per year in the spring for controlled growth. And if you’re working on a ladder, be sure to follow all safety precautions, especially if you’ll be dealing with falling branches.

No, you cannot plant a tree above a gas line. Tree roots grow and spread over time and can sometimes dent, crack, or penetrate a gas line. Those same roots may also cause accessibility problems for maintenance or repairs. You can generally plant vegetation with non-invasive root systems, low-growing vegetation, and flower beds near gas lines.
