"We've had trees removed from our property in the past, but, Tree Surgeons surpassed them. They were pleasant, polite, and professional, and did what they said at a fair price! They placed boards in our front yard so as not to mess up the yard as they drove the bobcat over it. When they finished, in our backyard, you could not tell they'd even been there. They did a great job and even cleaned up the cul-de-sac."

"This company is amazing. From my first meeting with Omar I felt like I was talking to a friend.. He made the whole experience of such a large project of cutting down 3 large trees and replacing a privacy fence feel not so overwhelming. His team worked fast , safely and efficiently . I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again in the future!"

"They work extremely fast. I hired them at noon and I was trying to find them before 3pm to ask when they will be able start this job. They already have completed the job of removing 10 large trees from two different locations. It's not easy to impress a manager with 30+ years of experience, but they just did it. They put all the trees they cut exactly in the designated place. I would absolutely recommend them. Tom Babicz Watercrest HOA Community, Venice, Florida."

"I called Tymberland Stump Removal on 7/27/21, they came out promptly and gave me a very fair and reasonable quote to grind two tree stumps. He came prepared to do the work then. The young man did a fantastic job. He was very polite, kind and professional. I would highly recommend him to perform any stump removal you may have. May I also add that I used them a few years ago and they are still just as great as ever!! I am a very satisfied customer."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.

While palm trees can bring aesthetic appeal to your yard, they have a couple of drawbacks. The main disadvantage is that many types require warm climates, so if you live in a cold region, you need to ensure you pick a palm that can withstand the freezing temperatures. Another downside is that maintenance can be difficult because of their height, which means you will need to pay a pro to prune the tree as needed.

The best time to prune Japanese flowering cherry trees depends on where you live and the type of flowering cherry tree. Some trees benefit from being pruned toward the end of winter or early spring, after the last freeze. Meanwhile, other trees do well after blooming, in late spring or early summer. Avoid pruning your flowering cherry tree in the early winter, as this encourages open wounds that can lead to infections or infestations.

You can start your search for a reputable arborist online by looking for professionals who hold the proper licensing and are fully insured. Next, read through some online reviews to see what kind of service the expert brings to the table, and confirm that they don’t have a history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Finally, you can ask the professional for a list of references and then call them to ask questions about the service, professionalism, value, and more that the expert brings to the table.

In general, trees should be planted no closer than 15 to 20 feet from your foundation. For larger trees with far-reaching roots like maples, oaks, or poplars, a good guide is to plant as many feet from your home as the tree’s height is expected to reach at maturity. Some trees, like elms and willows, should only be planted far from where their roots may encounter sewer or water lines.
