"No findings, no solution, no explanation… collected the fee… the issue is still there. I had Triad Mechanical Company for our HVAC issue that the outdoor unit is not running. I told Paul, the assigned technician, that we had tried resetting the power to the outdoor unit but that only brought the unit back on running for a few days before it stopped running again. I asked Paul’s help diagnose the issue for the root cause. However, when I came to the property just a few minutes later than Paul, he told me that he had done his work already, well, by simply resetting the power to the unit! (although I told him that we already tried that but it didn’t work!)… He didn’t have the patience to explain to me what diagnosis he had done (within that a few minutes) and he didn’t even bother to come off his truck to show me but saying “go ask your tenant”. He collected the fee and left. I will never trust nor use Triad Mechanical Company again!"

The electrician went to check and stayed at the property for less than 5 mins after confirmation to do full diagnostic of the electrical system. I completely understand that businesses need to make a profit, but being charged over $500 for a 20-minute visit is more than what many highly skilled professionals—attorneys included—earn for their time. Before scheduling the service, I asked for a quote on both the part and labor. Unfortunately, I was told they couldn't provide that information in advance (which, in hindsight, should’ve been a red flag). I trusted the positive reviews and moved forward anyway. When the technician arrived, they spent about five minutes confirming what we already knew: that we needed a specific part. We expressed concern about the cost, and a manager offered a modest discount, which we declined. We ended up paying the $80 just to be told exactly what we had already suspected. Afterward, we contacted another company that provided the part at cost ($100) and completed the service for $135. Bottom line: if you're trying to avoid unnecessary expenses--which I think right now most people are, it’s worth calling around. I’d recommend saving yourself the service call fee and going with a company that’s more transparent from the start- one that respects your time and your wallet."
