"I hired ArborForce Tree Services to cut down two huge trees and trim several large branches from three other trees. I got great service at a good price. The crew arrived on time, and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend ArborForce Tree Services. I will definitely hire them again."

"I had frost damage on my crepe myrtles and needed trimming and cleaning up work on my maple trees. Arbor Services Unlimited responded to my request for service through Angi. They came by the next morning, gave me a very reasonable quote (as well as some excellent advice on how to better care for my trees) and did the work the same day. I was amazed at the quality of their work and the positive impact it had on the appearance of and no doubt the health of my trees. It was an excellent experience and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!"

"I am very pleased with Rebollar Tree Service. They did the work agreed on for the price agreed on. However, they took down two extra trees at no extra cost. They used a chipper for the limbs and branches, clean up was done and all in 5 hours. I will use them again in the future you should too."

"Tree Surgeon Atlanta did an excellent job at our church, CBBF, at 4468 Redan Road, Stone Mountain, GA. Jimmy and his crew arrived to take down over 20 trees, remove them, and grind the stumps. They provided excellent communication, showed genuine care for their clients, and offered all this at a very affordable price. I am incredibly pleased with their service. They will be our go-to for any future work, and I will be referring everyone to them. Don't hesitate to call them - their service is unbeatable!"

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Combining tree service with other home upgrades in Gainesville can streamline your project timeline and reduce disruptions. For example, scheduling tree removal or trimming before landscaping, fence installation, or roof work allows easier equipment access and protects new features. Coordinating services also minimizes repeated site visits and can help you address issues like overgrown branches or root intrusion before starting additional home improvements.

Helpful?

Tree service in Gainesville offers immediate benefits such as reducing storm damage risk, improving curb appeal, and eliminating hazardous limbs—especially important with local pines and oaks. Over time, healthy trees provide shade, lower cooling costs during hot Georgia summers, and support native wildlife. Proper tree care also helps prevent soil erosion on sloped lots and protects your property from wind and heavy rain common in the region.

Helpful?

In Gainesville, homeowners often prune oaks during high beetle activity, ignore permit requirements for removing mature trees, or work near Lake Lanier’s buffer zone without proper approval. Hiring uninsured crews or skipping credential checks can lead to property damage. Over-pruning or topping trees weakens them, and failing to address erosion control on slopes may cause long-term landscaping and drainage issues.

Helpful?

After tree service in Gainesville, check for signs like new cracks in your driveway or foundation, changes in yard drainage, or unusual flickering of lights. Large tree removal may alter water flow, especially on hillsides, and roots can impact underground pipes or utility lines. If you notice pooling water, shifting soil, or issues with irrigation, consult a local arborist or landscaping professional for a thorough assessment.

Helpful?

After tree service in Gainesville, apply mulch around remaining trees, water deeply to aid recovery, and clear all debris to prevent pest problems. Monitor for signs of new growth, insect activity, or compacted soil, especially in clay-heavy areas. Schedule annual tree inspections before storm season and keep records of completed tree trimming or removal for property value and insurance purposes. Regular care helps maintain healthy, resilient trees.
