We have been in business since 2017, but we have over 14 years of experience in finishing concrete. Being a concrete finisher takes a lot of experience, skills and knowledge to do a meticulous job which is what our company prides itself on. We are a licensed, insured and veteran-operated business. Please contact us for all your concrete needs. We offer free estimates. Our services include but are not limited to: * Driveways * Sidewalks * Patios * knee walls * Stamped Concrete * Slabs * Footings * House foundations * Grading * Handicap Ramps * Handicap Sidewalks * Handicap VPL Platforms * Pool lifts base with ground unit base * Junk removal * Pressure Washing ( fences, driveways, decks)" ☆☆☆Unfortunately, we don't do overlays and staining.

"Edwin and his crew were amazing! We had a 300sq ft back patio put in right off the back of our house and from the beginning stages of reaching out promptly and showing up on site in a professional manner for a quote all the way to cleaning up once the project was done, I had an incredible experience with AR Concrete. Edwin was able to answer any questions I had and was even flexible on a few changes that I needed to make to my original plans. The finished product turned out awesome and I would highly recommend AR Concrete to anyone looking to have this type of work done around their home or business."

With over 15 years experience, Islas Masonry is a Father & Son business located in Conyers, Ga. We specialize in Full Installation of Stone, Brick, Stucco, Concrete, and Hardscaping. We pride ourselves on competitive pricing and customer satisfaction. No job is to small we will quote it for free! Ask us about our deals on decks & privacy fences!

"Francisco Gomez started the job until day #2, He stated that he can't grade the three sided out of the four sided property because he does not have the heavy equipment (dozer) to do the slopes. He only has the small machine to finish up the driveway. He should have told me that from the beginning so that I would not have hired him. I already gave him $3,600 & he only gave me back $300. I would like an additional refund of $ 1,000. He only did partial grading for driveway & move the mulch in the back part of the property. There was no gravel or cement installed."

Concrete Driveways, Concrete Walkways, Patio Pouring, Concrete Steps, Concrete Aprons. We offer quality service at an affordable price. Contact us today about a free estimate!

"Poorly. I taught Atlanta Best Concrete as the same as Best Concrete as that was the only company I found in doing research. Noted: Despite no contract & difference in name, there was no going wrong in my mind for this was through HomeAdvisor/Angi. A rush to frame ensued after delay in removal of wooden structure. Between framing and pouring we exchanged words leading to some misunderstandings. They began backfilling using material I had set aside for my own use as the cement truck was waiting. Once stopped I allowed some material I could do without. In the end it wasn't enough concrete. They had to order more. The slab is not properly leveled. Visible on the side are pockets not filled with cement. Left side of the slab not straight. Front of the slab not flushed with the ground. The shed leans both forward and to the left, plus I must lift the right door in order to lock it."

Every home owner views basement flooding as your biggest nightmare. In the end, you should perform a large amount of cleaning, draining, basement waterproofing as well as salvaging of things following a flood entering your house. Now, you should observe that the very first two days following the flood is vital. You need to act promptly following a basement flooding simply because not doing this can further the damage caused to your property as well as belongings. Also, extending the flooded basements cleanup may even result in safety and health hazards for that home's occupants.

"Amazing they are very professional and polite! They answered all my questions and worked very quickly!"

Welcome to J&M Pump Services. We are a family owned and run business with over 5 years of experience. At J&M Pump Services we strive to make your concrete experience easier and enjoyable. We pump and pour concrete for walls, slabs or footers and no job is to small or to big. We are happy to help you in anyway possible. Please request a quote. We look forward to working with you.

"I am writing to formally address the issues concerning the project I hired Jackson of J & M Concrete to complete at my property. The scope of work was to diagnose and repair a pond leak as well as address a sinkhole, with an estimated project completion time of 2-3 days. The estimated total price was $6300, of which 50% was to be paid in advance, $3150 was paid. On January 2, 2025, Jackson, of J & M, poured some concrete, which was to cure and settle before the next phase. The project was left incomplete. Jason removed all equipment and left the job site by the next morning, leaving large ruts in the yard from the trackhoe and other heavy equipment. The sinkhole was not addressed, nor the pond leak. It has remained unfinished and has been getting worse during the last 2 and a half months. I called days two and three when there was no sign of them coming back and made numerous phone calls over the next couple months to find out when they would be back to finish the job, seeing as they were paid beyond the scope of the job they did. It has been more than 2 ½ months and no return phone call. At the end of February, I received a letter from the concrete company contracted by J &M, Smyrna Ready Mix Concrete, which is seeking payment for their services – “Notice to Contractor and Request for Notice of Commencement, O.C.G.A & s.44-14-361.5.” I called them and found out that their bill had not been paid by J & M. I notified Jackson about this matter and he texted back saying he was in Florida and would call in the upcoming week due to a death in the family. As of today, March 13, the pond continues to leak, and the sinkhole remains unresolved, even growing in size. The equipment used during the project caused enough damage to require that additional fees be spent for hiring a landscaper to address the ruts in the lawn left by the trackhoe, as well as the excavated hill dirt used to block the creek from flowing into the pond. The partial blockage diverted the water, causing it to overflow its banks. Fortunately, the blockage has since been cleared."

Concrete Repair questions, answered by experts

Foundation repair in Gainesville can impact plumbing lines, especially if your home has older pipes or a slab foundation. HVAC ducts in crawl spaces may require temporary relocation, and electrical wiring near the foundation could need adjustment. If your property uses a septic system or has extensive landscaping, these systems may also be affected during repairs, so it’s important to plan for possible disruptions to home utilities.

Helpful?

Your Gainesville home is likely a good candidate for foundation repair if you notice seasonal shifts in wall or floor cracks, minor settling, or sticking doors and windows—especially in homes built on stable soil with accessible crawl spaces. Properties with manageable moisture levels and solid structural integrity typically respond well to repair solutions, particularly if drainage improvements can be made to address water intrusion issues.

Helpful?

For minor foundation concerns in Gainesville, keep gutters and downspouts clear and direct water at least five feet from the foundation to prevent soil erosion. Regularly monitor and document small cracks using a ruler or crack gauge. Maintain proper grading around your home, trim roots and shrubs near the foundation, and use a dehumidifier in crawl spaces to control moisture. Avoid attempting structural repairs yourself, especially near utility lines.

Helpful?

In Gainesville, homes with split-level layouts, stone or brick foundations, or limited crawl space entry often present unique challenges for foundation repair. Expansive clay soil common in the area can also complicate repairs, especially after heavy rain. Large tree roots and underground utilities may require specialized planning. A detailed foundation inspection is essential to identify these potential obstacles before starting any repair work.

Helpful?

In Gainesville, it’s helpful to keep a crack gauge, level, measuring tape, and flashlight for regular foundation inspections. Stock supplies like hydraulic cement, polyurethane caulk, and waterproof masonry paint for minor crack repairs. For water management, have downspout extensions, splash blocks, and drainage gravel available. Moisture control tools such as plastic sheeting and a dehumidifier are useful, especially during the humid Georgia summers.
