"They saved the day fixing our water heater while on vacation. We appreciated the fast response and the quality of the work performed. Our plumber really made sure we were up and running before leaving. We will be using Tony’s Plumbing again for any future issues that come up. Great Service Experience. Bart and Carol Birdyshaw"

"This is the second major project we have hired Aquaguard for and we could not have been happier with the results. They have stopped serious leaks in our basement as well as supported our brick front porch, which was about to collapse. Have us thousands in prevented damages and potential liability. Would definitely hire again."

I offer more than just repair services to your home. I offer peace of mind. If and when you hire me, you hire with the confidence that you will be treated honestly and fairly. I don't take on jobs that I have no business doing. I treat my customers with the respect that they're owed. I show up when I say I'm going to and I follow through with my commitments. I keep a meticulously clean work area and I'm willing to work around any needs of my customers. My passion is working on people's homes. I know it means a lot and it takes a lot to invite someone you don't know into your home. It takes even more to offer them your hard earned money in hopes that they respect your home the way it should be respected. My goal for every project is to give my customers the best contractor experience they've ever had. Your home is sacred to you, which makes it sacred to me. Every project I take part in is more than just a job. It's a relationship and an experience. With me, your home is in good hands.

"What an Amazing Company!! I had a Major Plumbing Issue after my son knocked the top off the toilet and busted the pipe that connects the water in to the wall. I got on Angie List and found Free Emergency Plumber.Com and within a half hour they were at my house. Not only did they fix the leak and the pipe for FREE, but the technician was also able to assist me in getting my house dried out (slightly flooded three or four rooms)! The guys at Free Emergency Plumber.Com even helped when dealing with my insurance company. Start to finish they handled just about everything for me, all I had to do was sit back and let them work. Amazing company, Amazing people, I highly recommend Free Emergency Plumber.Com."

"The guys with Tri State were excellent. They not only installed our water filter, they also corrected some plumbing issues at our new home no charge. They seemed to really enjoy the science behind plumbing and so they knew exactly what they were doing. Communication was excellent and they were very friendly guys. I would recommend them."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

The general rule of thumb is that you should clean your pipes every 18 to 22 months, although the process for cleaning depends on the severity of the issue and what type of pipes you have.

That being said, regular maintenance on your pipes can help prevent the need for a full-on replacement and help extend the lifetime of your pipes by quite a bit.

The most expensive part of adding a bathroom will always be the wet areas, such as the toilet, sink, and shower. Considering a half bathroom won’t have a shower, you’ll save quite a bit of money there versus adding a full bath with a shower or tub. Using qualified professionals is a requirement when dealing with plumbing and electricity, so while you can do some of the addition yourself, leave these two to the pros.

Whether you hire a plumber to replace an outdoor spigot depends on how handy and confident you are with your DIY capabilities. Local plumbers will be familiar with your area’s plumbing codes, and while replacing a spigot looks simple, it can be a deceptively complex task. Ultimately, hiring a professional will ensure you get the job done right the first time and avoid any problems down the road.

Your local town or municipality’s fire code and other applicable ordinances will set out the requirements for installing and maintaining a private fire hydrant. These rules can vary from place to place, so it’s crucial to consult with your town’s fire or code enforcement departments before you install a private hydrant on any property you own. Alternatively, you can hire a professional fire service consultant to help you interpret local laws and ensure you’re fully compliant with those requirements.

Repiping your plumbing is when you remove the old plumbing system and replace it with newer, more modern plumbing and drainage pipes. Typically, older homes are repiped to upgrade the plumbing system. If you have frequent issues with your home’s plumbing system or live in an older home with outdated pipes, consult a professional plumber about the best course of action for repiping your plumbing.
