Used this company to pump out my septic tank, came out and pretty much charged me $1400 to not do a job at all.... withing 2 days of "pumping my tank clean" the tank was back full and looked like it never was emptied. I had 2 other people look at it and they also said it wasn't pumped emptied, nor was my filter changed or cleaned... called 3 times to fix the issue and asked for the boss or manager to call me but he never did. Doug (my tech) finally called me to try and fix the issue but it just seemed as if they wanted to just pacify the problem like it was just how it works when 2 other people told me it wasn't. When they seen I put a complaint on the BBB site they called me and threatened me to take down the complaint or they weren't coming back out to clean the filter THAT THEY DIDNT DO TO BEGIN WITH!!!!!!!! This company has no morals nor do they care about their customers! They are out to just screw people out of their hard earned money. DONT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU KNOW WHATS GOOD FOR YOU!!!

I would not recommend this company. They did not do the work as agreed to in advance and charged $5,000 for about 4 hours work. I had a serious water line leak in the main water line leading to my house. They did not locate the leak and told me the bast option was to replace the entire water line. Their plan was to dig up a spot near the meter and and to hand dig a spot at entry point to the home and to pull one long pipe from the house to the street. The price was very high, but we were desperate and liked that the yard would only be dug up in two small spots and that there would be one continuous pipe with no joints to leak or break. We did get quotes with a much lower price, but they would dig up the yard and use multiple pieces of pipe joined together. They did not do the job as we agreed in advance. 1) They dug up the yard in 4 places, rather than the 2 we agreed. 2) They used 3 pieces of pipe joined together, rather than 1 continuous piece. 3) They used a tractor to dig up the spot by the house causing extra yard damage 4) In digging up the extra locations, they cut our irrigation line and they cut our drainage line. They didn’t do the job as agreed and charged an extreme premium, while damaging other lines in the yard. I called the company and asked that a supervisor call me. They never did. I do not recommend this company.

If you want to be ripped off, then use Billy Bell plumbing. I had a main line water leak that I called them about. They came out and I showed them exactly where the leak was, but they wanted to do a leak search to locate additional leaks. Six (6) days later, I had a bill for $3050, $550 for leak test and another $2500 for the time they spent searching for non-existent leaks. I told them to repair the main line where I first directed them and not to do anything else. After the repair, my water usage was normal again, so there were no additional leaks. Their pricing was very arbitrary, just a number off the top of their head. Avoid this company unless you want to get ripped off.

Work was performed before the agreement of the owner of the property. The price quoted, which was not agreed to was $650 to fix it and $350 to patch it. I believe the prices were based on the occupants of the house being women alone. When told that the male owner would have to give permission for the work, the 'plumber' did the patch in 5-10 minutes. When asked by the owner for a warantee and if the job was done to code he replied that jobs aren't done to code for that price. He became aggressive in a way people do when they are caught doing wrong. After storming off he returned to say that he was going to remove the repair work which would have left a main pipe leaking. I paid the bill to prevent this happening since being in the right doesn't prevent a flood. As a Professional myself I find people like this embarrassing. I would recommend using him ubder any circumstances.

Had previously used them in Feb or March , Late on a Sunday after 5pm . Similar issue and only charged $400 for w/e after hour call. This time called on a Monday @ 3 pm, receptionist had worker return call @ 4pm, excuse no assistant, possibly foot valve. can be there tomorrow am @ 9. Tuesday. 9am no workers arrived a@ 9 30 or so. 1st question was bathroom? I have no water! Duh, relieves himself in nearby woods. starts talking about how deep well is 55ft, not hundreds, ask him about price he quotes 2, great price, ask him about additional work, he adds 12 more. $400 for 2 repairs not bad. he says NO, $3400 ! I cant do that, drops to 2600, Actually almost all I had in savings. Really needed water for 2 households and no other option. only well water no city access. They purchase 100FT rolled pipe , 2, $20 foot valves, multiple fittings being generous with a $400 parts total. 3 hour trip for parts, glue up pipes, , connect foot valves install initial . work on 2nd while glue dries. looses O ring, another trip for o ring. we 2nd does not work Pump A was started sti;ll not pump after prime, reprime, again, shut off valve until pressure builds then Root cause appeared, a cracked $2.00 fitting where pvc came threw well tile. No attempt to TROUBLESHOOT Period!!!!! payoff time Total $2704.00 2304 labor 6 hrs time = $450 per hour. Expensive Education, Lesson learned!!!

They charged $475! It was waaaay overpriced! I'd never call them again! The plumber brought a very young man along to watch. The kid drove to the store to get caulk, that's ALL, and they charged for two plumbers! We shouldn't have to pay for an apprentice.

We were quoted one price then charged nearly 150% MORE with ZERO communication that anything would be costing more than we were told. Quoted $300 for septic pump and $700 to install 5 toilets and 2 sinks. Total should have been $1000 (and some change for a water line). NOPE! We were charged $2450!! Had we been told things would cost more, we would have opted not to use them or to have them stop work. Predatory quoting/billing - STAY AWAY!!

Pumping went well but the PRICE changed after service was provided!!!!!
In short I was quoted one price and charged another. When I spoke to the owned Billy Bell he was rude and not willing to honor the quoted price unless they brought 500 gal of waste back to my house.
If you want all the details read the review
I called Billy Bell Plumbing on a Saturday 3/14/15 and spoke with Sandra, I explained that I had a 1000 gallon tank with a riser that was overflowing, I also told Sandra that I had about 100 people expected later that day for a cookout. Sandra then quoted me a price of $450.00 which I thought was high but it was overflowing and on the weekend so I expected the price to be a bit higher. I was also in a jam and needed it done so I agreed.
Marty was the drive who called to get the address and directions. When he arrived he walked around to see what the problem was. Because the tank has a riser on it I know exactly where it is so you dont have to locate the tank and there is no digging involved just move the pine straw and remove the lid. Marty removed the lid and the tank was full and overflowing as I had told Sandra it was.
Marty asked me when the last time I had the tank pumped. I told him I had a different company out about two months before but they had only pumped part of the tank because they raised there price once they got on sight. I told them to pump 1000 gal for the quoted price and then they could pack up and leave.
Marty and I spoke for several minutes about the fact that the drain field was not working properly and what would be required to correct the problem with the septic system. We talked about how many feet of drain field are require per bedroom based on county code and the fact my yard was small and it would be difficult to fit that many feet of drain field in my yard.
Because of the coming cookout I was more concerned about just getting it working for now and we could discuss repair options later. Marty then told me they had a chemical treatment they could try which could possibly get the drain field to work agian. The price for this treatment would be $300. I said I was a little tight on funds because of the cost involved in the cookout and asked what the total cost would be with the treatment. Marty said "let me just pump it first" then he went to hook up the hose and start pumping,he then asked "do you want me to pump it dry?" and I said yes thinking that was what I had been quoted for.
When he finished pumping he then brought me the invoice with a price of $550.00. I asked him what happened to the $450 price I was quoted. He told me that was for 1000 gal and he pumped more so he would have to charge me for 1500 gal price.
We talked about how I had explained on the phone it was more the 1000 gal (it is a 1000 gal tank with a riser and overflowing) so The person should have known it would be more than the 1000 gal price.
Now I was "officially p***** off" as I told Marty. I was going to pay the higher price but would not use Billy Bell plumbing again. I told him the extra $100 had cost them any chance at the repair of my system and asked him to have Billy Bell call me.
Monday I waited until 1:30 to give Billy Bell a chance to call me but when he did not I called him. I was told he was not in the office  but leave a number and he would call me back. Twenty minutes later he call back from his office. He and I had a conversation about what had happened and he said they would bring 500 gal of waste back to my home and refund the $100 difference. Once I could get Billy to let me complete a sentence before he interrupted me I explained I was not asking for anything from him I just wanted to make sure he was aware of what had happened before I wrote my review. He told me Marty had called him on Saturday and he had looked at the truck himself to see how much had been pumped. He told me Marty (230 lbs. man) felt threatened by me ( a 190 lb. man in a wheelchair) and wanted to let him know what had happened. (He did not call me on Saturday to get my side of the story). At one point Billy brought God into the conversation by saying he was watching, to which I told Billy Yes he is.
IF YOU CHOOSE TO USE BILLY BELL PLUMBING THERE PRICE IS HIGH ON THE PHONE AND GET HIGHER WHEN THE JOB IS COMPLETE.

He found the cause very quickly and knew what to do about it. But then he had to drive to town to get a length of pvc pipe. When he got back, he realized he did not have the fitting for the top of the pipe, so he rambled around in his van for 45 minutes looking for the fitting, and finally had to drive back to town to buy the fitting; after returning to our house, then he installed the new pipe and fitting.

We needed to know the location of our septic tank to apply for a building permit. The house was built in the early 80's so the county had no records. Jeff Kies found and certified the tank. He was polite, a steady worker and honest. We thought we might need to pump the tank but Jeff showed us there was no need for it yet - it was in good shape. They'll get my business in the future.

They called in the morning to arrange a time to meet. the plumber had to meet someone to get some washers, cause that is usually the problem, so he would arrive after. Plumber showed up to the house, said it would be about 3hour sop about $300.00 job cause older homes take longer then he promptly started working on the job.
After about 45 mins he told me the job wasnt gonna take very long after and would be done in about an hour, then he had the wrong washers and needed to go to the store and get some. ( strange he was suppose to get the washers before he arrived) he said he would be gone about 45 mins. He came back fixed and fixed the leaks.
Now its time to pay. I asked if I could pay with a credit card he said yes but its 4 percent extra. I told him that was a crappy way of doing business. He said he would help me out on the bill by not charging and quot; Drive Timeand quot; ???
Drive time i said, your suppose to bring parts with you I would think washers would be the number 1 part you used. He agreed.
Well after the discount, and not charging me for drive time the bill was $332.00
A job that should have taken about an 1 1/2 hour to maybe 2 hours. Labor is $105 an hour.
Well i paid and thats fine, sure wish i would have checked Angies List first and saw the F Grade.
The guy was pleasant and fixed the problem. However he was not a licensed plumber. I thought the person coming to my home was a licensed plumber....Nope. They work under the owners license.
The companies pricing policy is absolutely ridiculous, and there not using licensed plumbers I will never use them again.
The only reason im giving a C instead of an F was the guy was pleasant.
