"I called Jessica when my regular decorator was unable to help me redecorate my bathrooms and I was not disappointed! Jessica responds to all questions and phone calls almost immediately and I absolutely love her choices. My husband was not excited about updating our bathrooms until he saw Jessica’s mood-boards and now even he can’t wait to get started on the project. My only concern is that once the bathrooms are complete we will want to do more updating! Thank you Jessica and Dani! Would definitely recommend. I am a retired real estate agent so I have worked with many home stagers and decorators throughout my 35 year career and I think Jessica’s talents are among the best."

"I consulted two other electricians that made the repair sound more expensive, detailed and complicated ...Mr. Junior looked over the problem...made the same diagnosis as the other two did but He fixed the problem without the elaborate added expense of running all this wiring...my new appliance is working beautifully ..."

"The service was excellent! Every year I personally decorate my entire house with a Christmas theme, but this year I had a family emergency out of town and just didn’t have the time or resources to decorate before I left! Christmas means so much to my family and is the one time of year everything else stops and family truly becomes the main focus! I decided to take a chance and hire someone to do the work for me and I hands down I am so glad I turned to Angies list and found CorieB’s Design Firm! Her work is impeccable and I’d definitely choose CorieB designs again! Thanks for exceeding my expectations and transforming my home into the joys of Christmas!"

Lighting questions, answered by experts

Flickering lights, intermittent outages, or physical damage to fixtures signal immediate repair to avoid electrical hazards.

The majority of potential burglars are amateurs looking to make a quick buck after breaking and entering. By installing motion-sensor lights, alarm systems, and security cameras, throughout the home, there’s a good chance you will deter crime on your property.

Although security lighting may not deter a determined burglar, its presence will make your property that much less enticing to would-be trespassers. When paired with other types of home security systems like alarms and surveillance cameras, strong lights will better help you and the authorities identify thieves in the instance they attempt to break in or succeed at doing so.

One possibility is that they aren’t getting enough sunlight during the day, which could be due to a lack of sunshine in your area or trees blocking the solar panel. Alternatively, if the solar panel is dirty or the batteries are dying, your solar lights might not operate at full brightness.

Local building codes typically require conduit around exterior wiring. Conduit protects the wire from moisture, extreme temperatures, sun exposure, and harsh weather conditions to prolong its lifespan. When a wire is worn out, it can be dangerous as the risk of electric shock or fire increases.
