"He said the damper on my Fridge needed to be replaced and said it would be $515.00 and that he'd be back in three days. Obviously playing me. That cost me $60.00 for ten minutes. The part is $102.00 retail. The install is nothing. Watch a few videos, nothing. The door had a rip in the rubber. He saw it, didn't even address it. I said I would have to think about it. He asked for his $60.00. They can make a nice living doing these quotes. He would have been laughing with all his buddies had I agreed."

"I had a brand new heat pump system installed in April 2023. They sent subcontractors to install it who were very unprofessional and they left bare wires hanging out of the machine and it did not look like it was installed correctly. It stopped working completely 4 times in 5 months, the last time was on October 10, service tech said, “I really don’t agree with the way they installed it “ he said the wires were barely connected so it kept losing power. He got it working again and left. Two weeks ago it got cold and we turned the system to heat for the very first time. It blew cold air. We made ANOTHER service call. The technician said that a switch had “gone bad” because, “they wear out” we explained that we have never used the heat even once, so how could the switch be worn out. Then they advised they had to order a part. Over a week later the part came in and they returned and that still didn’t fix. Now they say the compressor has, “gone bad” and when we reiterated that we have never even used it so how is it worn out they answered, “they just go bad sometimes” we still don’t have heat, they say they have to order more parts. We asked them to look over the whole system because we don’t think it is installed right and I am genuinely concerned that it is a fire hazard and they looked at it, put electrical tape on some hanging wires and left. We have had to take SIX days off work so far and buy space heaters and we are no closer to having a working system. This unit is less then SIX MONTHS OLD. At this point I have no choice but to pursue legal action. This whole experience has been terrible and has cost me hundreds in missed time at work and I’m still paying for a system that does not work."

"Two recent HVAC experiences inspired this recommendation and this warning. I recently called CW Comfort Solutions and was more than pleased. For a very reasonable fee, CW came out, inspected the heating system at the Henry Herald building, and fixed up what was in need of repair. I would highly recommend CW any day of the week. 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, before I called CW, I made the mistake of calling Hammond Services, Inc.. They inspected that same heating system, made no repairs, and charged OVER TRIPLE the fee!! It was a disgusting, wicked, outrageous way to treat a customer. I confronted Hammond with this fact after CW had treated me well, but Hammond obstinately defended their rip-off price and so-called service. Hammond left me with nothing but disappointment and regret that I had ever reached out to their company. I wish I'd never heard of Hammond. I hope to save others this save others this same disappointment. Call CW first -- I wish I had! I wouldn't call Hammond Services again even if they were the last HVAC company in town. 0 out of 10."

"We have been using Patterson Air to service our systems for about 7 years. They have always provided excellent service. They usually arrive within the appointment window. On the rare occasion they are running early or late, they give us a call to let us know. They do the regular preventative maintenance in both spring and fall on two systems, one of which they installed. It was during the fall PM that they discovered the heat exchanger on our 20 year old system was cracked. They provided quotes on three different replacement systems and said we should also do our own research into other systems and providers to get a good feel for the market. Their prices are very reasonable but our research into the systems being recommended did not give strong enough favorable support of the equipment. They are a wonderful company and the and we would recommend them."
