"Considering the age of the home (over 100 years), where many unknowns were expected and encountered, the job went well. The quality demanded by the contractor was exceptional. Areas that needed updating were not neglected, instead improved using high-quality materials and workmanship. The new edition blends well into the original structure."

"I’ve used many contractors over decades of home ownership. I put One of a Kind Carpenter at the top for quality and value. It started with Dale who was friendly and efficient getting me the quote. Then she promptly got me the revisions as I modified the scope of work until we arrived at a final plan. One of the other things I liked was that Chad, the owner, did not just give me what I asked for; he made suggestions that made the project better. The workmanship was overseen either by himself or by his son. They know what they are doing. We did a 10’ x 1’ bump out wall covered in stone. Instead of using sheetrock like another contractor wanted to do, Chad used Durock to support the weight. They even hand cut the 90 degree stone side corners up to the 12’ ceiling. It was refreshing not to have a single problem with their workmanship. For materials, he did not do cost plus but gave me the receipts and only charged me what he paid. He did a few extra things that needed to be done without charging extra. They are true professionals not demanding an upfront deposit to cover the materials as lesser contractors do. They finished the project quickly too! This new bump out wall has given us pleasure every single day since its completion. I highly recommend One of a Kind Carpenter."

"Stephen was so easy to work with. He had some great ideas that we did not even think of that really made our new bathroom pop! he was here when he said he would be, he missed a day but came on a Saturday to make it up. Cleaned up every day. We took the bathroom down to the studs and he built the walls out with better, stronger lumber, did NOT cut corners even though it was clear he was very busy. He was done when he said he would be even though we asked him to do a little more. He was not the least expensive but, I believe he was fairly priced. top quality work. I am hoping I can get him to remodel our Kitchen next year. He worked with me to get the job sized right so I could afford it and he would be able to do a great job. Great guy, great workers, and we love the completed project."

"The team at Quintessential Renovations Inc. did a fantastic job replacing the cabinets in my kitchen! I could not be happier! Highly recommend them! They had the best customer service, all of their workers were friendly, clean, on time, and highly respectful. They did all of the correct prep work on the job and they really respected my home and belongings. They used great drop cloths and covered everything! They did almost all of the work in just two days and the entire project was completed in less than a week. Their estimate was right on the money and they worked so hard to keep things right where I needed them to be financially. They came up with creative solutions to my storage needs, designed some cool new corner cabinets, and gave me the greatest deal on the top of the line countertops that I just rave about! Everyone who came into my house was well spoken, super polite, and efficient and knowledgeable. Huge shout out to Nick Lyons and his whole team at Lyons Cabinetry Solutions and to Alex Jensen, the wonderful General Contractor who helped modernize my kitchen. Everything about dealing with them was a pleasure. Their communication was top notch."

"I have had an amazing experience with this company. The Customer Service from Greg Badal was outstanding. Not only were they able to find the product we needed, but the installation went smoothly. I will be a repeat customer."

"I give these folks my very highest recommendation. Their integrity, attention to detail and ultimate work product was stellar. These are the kind of folks you can just shake hands on a deal and it will be done properly. I will be hiring them again on another project at another home we own."

"Can't say enough about this company. I'm a local Realtor and I get asked for referrals all the time, I never hesitate to give their number. Not only is the work 5 Star Level, the communication exceeds expectations, which is tough to find in a Contractor. I appreciate it when a company is up front and honest from the beginning, and keeps their promises."

"We replaced our kitchen tile and built in a portion of our patio. The work was scheduled and completed efficiently. All the contractors were very respectful and worked efficiently and completed the projects in about 10 days from start to finish. Shawn Whitehorse, our project manager did a great job ensuring the work was completed correctly. It was a very positive experience. Plastic was put up to reduce the dust in the rest of our house. They put paper down when they worked on the drywall to reduce the mess of dust and eliminate tracking drywall all through our home. I would highly recommend Boyer Building and Shawn Whitehorse for anyone looking for a builder."
