Best contractors near Forest City, FL

"Bill and his crew were on top of the job right from the start. His prices are very reasonable and he doesn't mark up materials which is rare and greatly appreciated. The work was done carefully and of high quality. Bill is very responsive to phone, text and email communication. We are already asking him to quote another project."

"I’ve used many contractors over decades of home ownership. I put One of a Kind Carpenter at the top for quality and value. It started with Dale who was friendly and efficient getting me the quote. Then she promptly got me the revisions as I modified the scope of work until we arrived at a final plan. One of the other things I liked was that Chad, the owner, did not just give me what I asked for; he made suggestions that made the project better. The workmanship was overseen either by himself or by his son. They know what they are doing. We did a 10’ x 1’ bump out wall covered in stone. Instead of using sheetrock like another contractor wanted to do, Chad used Durock to support the weight. They even hand cut the 90 degree stone side corners up to the 12’ ceiling. It was refreshing not to have a single problem with their workmanship. For materials, he did not do cost plus but gave me the receipts and only charged me what he paid. He did a few extra things that needed to be done without charging extra. They are true professionals not demanding an upfront deposit to cover the materials as lesser contractors do. They finished the project quickly too! This new bump out wall has given us pleasure every single day since its completion. I highly recommend One of a Kind Carpenter."

"Greg and his project team did an outstanding job on our remodel. What started as a more conservative upgrade included a new 1100 sq. ft deck and railings, new rebuilt patio cover, new windows, new roof and the addition of stucco to our home. His overall communication was excellent and the quality of work was consistent across all phases of the project. This was second home so we were managing the remodel remotely. Overall great customer service and follow-through during the project which was completed on time. I would recommend Badal Construction without reservation if you are looking for a reliable high quality contractor."

"Can't say enough about this company. I'm a local Realtor and I get asked for referrals all the time, I never hesitate to give their number. Not only is the work 5 Star Level, the communication exceeds expectations, which is tough to find in a Contractor. I appreciate it when a company is up front and honest from the beginning, and keeps their promises."

"Another great project completed by Steven and his crew. Everything came out perfect and we couldnâ t be happier. Cannot specify enough about the attention to detail. He will definitely be the only contractor we ever call for any of our projects. Thank you Steve and general contracting and remodeling. We have already forwarded his contact to many of our friends and family."

"We replaced our kitchen tile and built in a portion of our patio. The work was scheduled and completed efficiently. All the contractors were very respectful and worked efficiently and completed the projects in about 10 days from start to finish. Shawn Whitehorse, our project manager did a great job ensuring the work was completed correctly. It was a very positive experience. Plastic was put up to reduce the dust in the rest of our house. They put paper down when they worked on the drywall to reduce the mess of dust and eliminate tracking drywall all through our home. I would highly recommend Boyer Building and Shawn Whitehorse for anyone looking for a builder."
