"Job performance exceeded our expectations. We would highly recommend NCG Landscape and Lawn Maintenance. Our job was not their first “rodeo” and it was obvious from the very beginning of the process that they are real pros. The workers involved were polite, courteous, knowledgeable and prompt. We were kept advised throughout the whole process of what the steps in the process would consist of. Our job started on time and finished on time and we are 100% satisfied with the outcome of their work!"

"Giovanni just started working on my yard work. He has only done it one time (so far). I love that he communicates very well. He just started working with me and I can tell that he is going to be wonderful. I have a list of handy work that I need done and he will be the one I want to have do my handy person work. He said he can do almost whatever I need him for. I gave him a 4 only because I just started with him. He will continue and I am 99.9% positive that he is going to be a 5!! He is licensed and bonded and had NO HESITATION providing me the documents."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

While a river may seem safer than the street, blowing leaves into the water can cause a lot of problems. Leaves can alter the local ecosystem, encourage bad algae growth and block narrow waterways. In large numbers, leaf debris can lead to fish death events in nearby bays or lakes and require expensive dredging to address. That’s why many cities also ban blowing leaves into water.

Digging a bush up by the roots is the most natural DIY method for removing a bush stump. Start by identifying the shrub type and revealing its roots. Cut the shrub to its base and loosen the soil, ensuring no utility lines are nearby. Optionally, treat the base with herbicide, then dig around the roots and cut a circle around the shrub using various tools. Dig a trench, cut the base of the root ball, and finally fill the hole to prevent regrowth. This thorough process ensures complete removal without damaging surrounding areas.

Trimming or removing trees promotes safety, prevents interference with structures or utilities, and enhances the aesthetic and health of the property landscape.

To prepare your yard for river rocks, smaller rocks may require laying landscape fabric to keep the stones from sinking into the ground while encouraging proper water drainage. You should also clear the land of weeds and larger boulders and, in some cases, test the density of the soil to ensure it can handle the weight.

No, you cannot throw branches from your neighbor’s tree back into their yard, nor can you discard leaves or other plant matter that originated from their yard back over there if it happens to land in your yard. You are responsible for cleaning up plant matter that made its way into your yard.
