"Before they started, someone came out and looked over everything and assured us the job would be done right and everything they removed would be put back like it was before. Once they did their work, they left the condensate lines open and draining on the ground which is not the way they found it. We were under the impression that they were completing the job. Once we realized what they had left undone, they let us know they didn't know how to put things back like they found it. We have already spend $9K with them and now they're telling us to spend more money to have an A/C guy come out and fix what they left undone. We would not recommend using this company."

Minor hairline cracks in mortar are normal over time. This is a natural occurrence as bricks settle. You should worry about cracks in brick if you see vertical cracks that widen as they move up, stair-step cracks, L-shaped cracks, or deep horizontal cracks. These are all more serious signs of foundation damage.

Spraying is much faster but may not penetrate the bricks beyond a surface layer. Rolling penetrates the bricks but doesn’t work as well on the mortar. A combination of painting and rolling is your best bet. Using a brush to paint brick isn’t advised because it is time-consuming and won’t penetrate beyond the surface.

Since the solution is paint-based, you can use it on painted brick, unlike limewash. Limewashing offers a more natural, textured appearance, allowing the brick's texture to shine while providing a breathable, protective coating. Conversely, whitewashing is also more forgiving when it comes to application, while limewashing requires more skill but offers a more traditional and durable finish.
