"We started a siding and windows job on our home in early 2024. $100k later, the job is still incomplete and it’s impossible to get them to actually follow through on their commitment to finish the job. Never mind the fact that now the windows are leaking and to them, it’s clearly no big deal because I notified them on April 1st and Will, their General Manager, said that someone would be out to check it out and I haven’t heard from anyone since. I’ve emailed the owner to no avail and in the beginning was told by their Sales person, Heather, that customer service is “their thing.” Yeah right, they got what they wanted out of us and that was it. I’ve tried to be patient but at the point, I’m over it. This is terrible customer service to say the least. They talk a big game in the beginning but just be cautious, they don’t care as much as they say they do."

"Do NOT use Lipton windows! It took 7 months and 4 return visits just to replace 3 windows in my home. Here's how it went... I met with the salesman in Nov '18, then decided to purchase 3 windows, luckily, rather than do the whole house, in Dec '18. PGT manufactured the windows and that took about 6-8 weeks. The first visit, Lipton sent a subcontracted crew, not a single one was a Lipton employee, to install the windows. They did a pretty shoddy job, but good enough I suppose, for the cheapest bid. When they were finished, I noticed a crack in one of the windows. (I suggest inspecting your windows very carefully, because workers will not!) Of course, they blamed PGT, the manufacturer, and sent pictures to Lipton. A new window was ordered, and 5 weeks later, trip number 2. This time, an actual Lipton employee came out and installed window number 2. Upon my inspection, I found a 5 inch scratch on the window. They again blamed PGT. A new window was ordered, and 5 weeks later, trip number 3. Again a Lipton employee was sent out, and attempted to install window number 3, but it was the wrong size! A new window was ordered, and 5 weeks later, trip number 4. This time, at my request and after discussions with the owner of Lipton, a PGT employee came to install the 4th window. Let me make note of the discernible differences in professionalism between the Lipton employees/contractors and the PGT employee; a world apart. This time, the window wasn't damaged, and the installation went perfectly. The PGT employee took extra time to clean the excess caulk and put finishing touches on the aesthetics of the job, both of which I was told previously by the Lipton employees couldn't be done except on a return visit. Not only did they lie about that, but on one occasion a Lipton employee tried to show me how to clean the excess caulk so I could do it myself! Awful. Every time I told the company about the terrible experiences with their employees, their response was that they no longer work for them. Throughout this extended process, all communication with Lipton was initiated by me, including all follow up calls and scheduling. My fault for taking the cheapest bid. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra bucks to avoid a prolonged and annoying experience of getting windows replaced. The only reason I didn't rate an F was because in the end, I do have 3 windows hanging. The icing on top was when the salesman called me afterwards to try and sell me more windows! He had no idea what I had gone through, and when I explained, he offered me 50 bucks off a window. No thanks! I do NOT recommend using Lipton windows for anything."

"More than half windows were wrong size, to big gaps between windows and walls,frames. Looks like 2-3" on each sides... The walls around frames are not ready for painting like was agreed. They told me , it's ok just buy some glue to glue some parts of peeled wall, fix and sand all , than you can paint!!! Teims are not evenly done too. See the pictures. I was thinking they did fix that but no... as many other... The big hole that was made on a drywall was just dumped bunch of the mud.. no drywall or anything as a back support. I just wanted them to be done.. was to stressful to look. Manager Rafael was very rude, arrogant and talks over you all the time. Didn't want to listen to any of our concerns, just saying all over .. everything is perfect. Honestly better buy windows at home depot and have someone instal them, it will be cheaper $10k +. These windows are not made by measurements to fit my openings, as they said. I did address this few times, but no one cares!!!! Manager is just protecting the company, and they do not care about customer!!! Not sure how they can have many positive reviews with this unprofessional work and behavior!!! NOW I NEED TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX ALL THIS!!!"

"Installed 9 windows total and 3 sliding glass doors. Not a single problem after the install. It's been 2 years now since the install. On the day of installation, everything was thoroughly explained before they got started. They were happy to take down all of the blinds and curtains for me. They also moved the furniture out of the way which is something they usually don't do, but they did it since I was unable to have it done prior to the appointment. They walked me through everything after the install and made sure I was satisfied. From the day of signing to the day of install was less than 4 weeks. They had the windows within 21 days of placing the order and got me on their schedule the same week of delivery. I did meet with 3 other companies. I noticed that everyone tried to sell me a window and the ratings on the window. Windoor Retro Pros/Builtry showed me that all of the glass from the manufacturers is all coming from Cardinal Glass. They showed me it was all the same low-e 366 glass and the minor differences between the frames. They took it a step further to show me how the differences in the frames could potentially affect the application of the window to my openings being that I have a wood framed home. This helped determine which product would be best for my home and they even explained why they were ordering all of the windows with a nail fin and slightly smaller. I did not have to do any touch up paint AT ALL because I went with their expertise. Every other company told me I might have to do touch up painting and more which was fine. But I could tell that Joe was not a sales person. He was very technical and even told me that the sliding glass doors would come with 6-inch tracks instead of my existing 4-inch tracks (due to being vinyl products which were thicker) so they would have to cut into my floor and build out on the exterior. The county inspector even said himself that this was by far one of the best installs he had ever seen in his 20+ years of inspections. I WOULDN'T HIRE ANY OTHER COMPANY. Windoor Retro Pros/Builtry were the second lowest bid out of 4 total bids we received. But even if they were the highest, we were set on hiring them. Listen to these guys. They are not sales people. These are real experts and they will treat you fairly. Also learned that Joe serves as their leader and he is a Christian. I don't really care for religion in business but his character was admirable and it just made things much easier throughout our communication. These guys are the best and sorry for such a long review but they deserve a much longer one!"

"They are really good at coming to your home and selling you these windows and will hover over you as you sign the sales agreement. Once that is signed, good luck. In addition to the poor window quality, they have destroyed my walls, windowsills, and baseboards. Windowwall sent another team out to "fix" the issues but did not fix them, instead asked me if I know how hard it is to install windows....not my problem? So then inspection day came and the windows failed. It has been a month now and still haven't heard back from windowwall. The windows cannot pass inspection until the scratched window is replaced, and another window that needs to be worked on because the window will not open. The inspector told me that if these windows were installed in his home, he would take them to court for how bad of a job they did. Lastly, if the sales rep tells you that they install noseeum screens DO NOT believe them and will not honor the promise!"

The crew boss, Chris, was not happy with the appearance of an external cable, and he returned on a Saturday to run the cable through the garage leading to a job that was aesthetically pleasing. My house was the first in our HOA that went solar; now there is at least half a dozen solar homes, Wonderful job at a good price. Ask for Chris; he is the best!"
